@joint_account Pharmacy Space, I've been informed they should properly honour external pharmacies 👌

I've just had the most wonderful and enlightening conversation with the practice manager over Auravia and I've learned a lot.

The big thing is as it currently stands they will not prescribe more than 60g. This is a step taken in light of recent public backlash. This is a fluid situation and may well change next week, next month. With my usage in that 70g-110g bracket depending on the month she wanted to call me directly so I wasn't wasting my time.

She has also advised me that if I'm getting this much at Medicann then I shouldn't move because it will be very hard to match this elsewhere because of recent events and news. So if you are looking to switch and have a high allowance, you may want to rethink that switch depending on where you're looking.

We talked over my usage, <23% strains in the day, up to 30% at night. She was happy with my usage and my reasoning albeit she is not a prescribing doctor but she understood why I needed the amount I do. She also agreed that patients should be tried on a patient by patient basis and as a result she has meetings with more doctors this week and in the coming weeks to look at how they can keep things safe but still patient led and still with the patient getting their needs met.

She understood they can carry me on a good month but probably not on a bad month. This is important to me because it clearly shows she cares about the patient experience instead of funnelling in new patients. She's even marked my emailed to go to her inbox directly so that we can keep in touch on future limit changes. So I will come back here if I know of anything new.

As expected, they will source products from anywhere and allow you to use any pharmacy.

If these guys can crop up to 90g, maybe even 80g then I think I'll make the jump.

Thoroughly impressed despite the 60g cap at present.

I've noticed that this clinic shares some of the same staff as the new Zoto clinic
I was about to reply saying maybe its just Doctors working across a few I've had a look and it appears thats not the case. I spoke with Chanelle yesterday and she did seem to have strong understanding of what other clinics are doing, I guess thats because she manages another of them lol.

Good spot!

I sent a application off Monday ain’t heard back yet

Welcome to MedBud @MysticJ

I'm sorry to hear that Auravia haven't got back to you yet.

I would recommend dropping Chanelle the practice manager an email. She's wonderful and will usually get on it ASAP for you. They're a small clinic and from the encounters I've had they seem to be willing to help patients anyway they can.

Here is Chanelle's email address - chanelle@auraviamedical.com

Auravia told me they would order in any medication and if they couldn't get it they'll send your script there. Did they say outright they wouldn't order in meds or that its a restricted formulary? - very surprised to be honest. my whole reason for potentially moving a few weeks back was because of the open pharmacy access.

Just because a clinic uses their own product formulary it doesn't necessarily mean you can't order from other pharmacies. I believe Alternaleaf currently run with a similar policy. I wonder if there's been a wirecrossing there potentially?

So which pharmacy did they say they used to you? They told me they didn't have one hence they could order from anywhere.

Very confusing. Sorry I pointed you this way mate! they lead me to believe things were going to be very different to what it seems like they've told you.

did not mention pharmacy, pharmacy space is the one listed on MedBud, Ill wait and speak to a Nurse James, was still digesting the special occasions, own formulary only, which I cannot see on MedBud. Everyone wants to lock you in to a formulary, dunno, if that the case wont be moving, also need to submit more evidence, red tape, I just want to choose flower I can afford, what do it have to be so hard, saving for Cannabis Clinic Cardiff

Every clinic has their own formulary, ultimately they don't want to prescribe things they haven't approved is the line that gets dragged out often.

CCC just have a policy that all products are on their formulary.

Just because a clinic has a formulary it doesn't mean you can't order meds from elsewhere, only that they'll only prescribe meds from a set list so all hope may not be lost. If their Formulary is fairly large then you may find you get what you're seeking still - ultimately clarity is needed isn't it.

Please do let us know what the nurse says, I'll drop Chanelle an email to try and clarify the Formulary side of things.

so i sent this to Chanelle

I would like to clarify that I can use any pharmacy, on any occasion, who have the stock and price, and that Zoto will be able to get any available product listed on MedBud is my understanding correct?

Will update
