Hi Medbuddies,

I know there's been a lot of chatter about pastures new in the clinic spaces lately.

It appears as if Auravia led me on a little bit with their multi-pharmacy access as other patients are now reporting otherwise. I thought it might be a good idea to provide a list of the clinics that still have some kind of multi-pharmacy access even if its restricted a little.

Airmed - £15 fee to use external pharmacy
Integro - This may have changed in the last year or so
Wellfords - I had a terrible time with this clinic but they do have open pharmacy access
Zoto - I can't find any patient stories and they're run by the same team as Auravia so this one may not be open pharmacy in reality
CB1 Medical - Charged a fee to send your script to an external pharmacy
Borders pain clinic - insane fees to be honest
Cannabis Clinic Cardiff - the boys
London Resilience Clinic - Little to nothing about these guys around but according to MedBud it's open pharmacy
Alternaleaf - I'm not sure if they still do this, but previously AL would send your script to any pharmacy but it will take longer and you can only order what Alternaleaf/ Montu prescribe.
Dispensed - Confirmed to send your prescription to any pharmacy providing the items fall within the prescribing formulary.

There's a load of clinics without much info that may include open pharmacy access that I've not listed here, I have sent emails to a few clinics, if i hear back I shall update. you can view all the clinics available here -

Alternaleaf don't really. You can in theory order from other pharmacies but only items that Montu stock. So no GSR, Redecan or IPS cheapies are available through Alternaleaf

Yeah I know but that counts imo because a lot of the reason people want multi-pharmacy is for cheaper prices, just as much as it is for range of selection. As long as the clinic allows you to send your script to an alternative pharmacy it makes the list imo.

I went back through my emails and this was their reply from earlier this month. I was on the online chat then a few minutes after that finished I got this email.
This would count as allowing an outside pharmacy but would could under the umbrella of doctors not prescribing products they are familiar with unfortunately:(

I've been with dispensed last year, only about 6 products on the formulary, the 2 could afford GG & HS, had no stock on occasions, so could buy only? after 4 months left

Looks like a lot has changed with them then. I have no idea what is on their formulary but the fact they allow you to use any pharmacy seems to be a change if they were previously saying no stock.

I think their formulary was around 9 items at one point and maybe 15 tops:eek:

When I was there, could not see formulary, had to have consult, and then they chose from a very small list I could not see, so perhaps they added in for pharmacy access, but only from their formulary, which is miniscule, so not really free access

I've heard the horror stories to be honest and I do remember their formulary being tiny to begin with.

You'll find every clinic on this list only provides what is on their formulary but will allow you to source it from any pharmacy. Even Cannabis Clinic Cardiff Technically has a formulary list, it just includes everything, it may well be a legal requirement for clinics/prescribers to have a determined list of prescribable products. I find most clinics won't give you a listed formulary because its fluid and changes often and is determined by profits and supply chains.

this didn't happen but for example, Last year with Alternaleaf I wanted some 4C Labs Death Bubba, got it via Montu. 3 months later Montu aren't selling it anymore but IPS are. I can't go to IPS because Alternaleaf say the Montu stock list is the formulary and they aren't showing it as OOS/NNR, it's just vanished so that means its removed from the formulary.

If Chanelle at Auravia (for example) said they could get Death Bubba like the above example, then in 3 months time they removed it from the formulary then you may have a bit of recourse with them for leading you up the garden path. So in my opinion this tends to be why most are hesitant to send over a formulary listing or be clear about whats on it. The best thing in my experience is to get someone who's a member of the clinic to send you a stock list of whats currently available but as you've experienced with Medicann - currently available doesn't provide any security.

If you want open access to all pharmacies and all medications that you see on MedBud then the only option for patients is CCC unfortunately. And that comes with a higher price to entry and an even bigger barrier being they only work with Mental Health patients. So its not an option for many. if it is, despite my issues I would encourage looking at them.

Not the strongest is it unfortunately. but if you love those 9 items then it may be worthwhile for the odd person. Gotta guess the 9 though lol

full access would be ideal, but I don't necessarily require it, want choice on the bottom end of the price scale,40 - 70 and more or less continued availability of products that I find work for me.

I'll leave the thread to stay on topic now🫣😅

I think this is possible with a few conversations and shopping around. IMO for the best prices in that range you need a clinic that works with Botanical or Specials. these seem to be the best priced pharmacies out there although I'm not aware of any using them as a default pharmacy so you'll still likely be working within the restrictions of the clinic formulary and how that looks.

and more or less continued availability of products that I find work for me.
I'd be shocked if anyone other than Curaleaf can commit to that to be honest with you. It's probably the biggest issue facing MC right now but I guess that's why multi-pharmacy is important, so you have a higher chance of getting hold of it.

Don't want commitment, just availability, and regularity, no avail/discontined, all good ill find something else, would be really happy with bot/spes as default
