What's the nose on yours like? The one I got stinks of grapefruit.

Xeal pharmacy packaged it. Do you think it's worth trying to contact them? It's a weird one, it seems like sprayed terpenes

I thought the weed itself looked sprayed, has the crunchy feel too, I contacted 4C Labs as figured they would a) Have somebody that knew what bubba was meant to smelt like and b) would have other batches to compare to. I smoked once and gave me a headache, tried pressing and it didn't improve, oddly I like some grapefruit strains and they work for me but this triggered an aura.

Might be worth giving Xeal a shout, I will let you know if hear back from 4C Labs in canada.

You know what now i think of it, death star is a parent of death bubba, which is a cross of sour diesel, a phenotype of diesel tastes like grapefruit. I hope that makes sense to you like it did me haha. But you're right it gives me a slight headache too. I'd be interested to know what they say though

I mentioned in my mail that whoever was selecting their phenos may have dropped the ball, as it is not the atypical Death Bubba expression I was expecting. I used to get it from Mr Green in Canada.

From my experience death bubba is usually an og kush gassy terp, is that the same for you? Which this has none of

I tagged you in the thread make it easy to find Yep I expect something a little more earthy, maybe some coffee notes coming through from the bubba, any citrus is very subdued and leans toward lemon not grapefruit.

I'm guessing at repack as I would assume they run clones and therefore everyone would have the same not bubba if they picked the wrong pheno. I could be wrong but can't see a commercial grow popping seeds and then removing anything that isn't the expected expression as that is a costly way to grow unless they are making edibles etc with the rando plants

I saw them thankyou. Mine seem to be milky/ clear, but I'm not getting as close as yours. I think It's probably the most sedating I've had on MC so there must be amber heads I just can't see them on my phone.

Grapefruit and Diesel sounds appealing to me and reminds me of a NYCD pheno proper Indica leaning compared to others and was really sedating like you'd struggle to get through a Q in a week

I absolutely love Grapefruit Diesel for the first couple of days then it has no effects, makes me gag and gives me heartburn. It's only the grapefruit pheno though I'm fine with NYCD sour diesel and diesel crosses

Not tried this but same batch number , I can see why you say grapefruit , More Sativa profile than Indica , There is a slight metalic terpenes that ye get in certain hazes and the smell that i remember coming from bubba is in there which is a sellotape/glue type of terp that i used to get mid 2000s when i asked what strain it was they said bubba. If i never smeled the same smell there then i would say its not bubba , Slight coffee n slight liqourice but only faint but that grapefruit terp you describe is primary terp there. My moon berry smells exactly like this bubba but different looks

Thanks Delta 9, I've only given this stuff two goes, once as flower once as rosin and haven't got any hint of bubba from it, the grapefruit is just too much for my olfactory functions it seems. I pulled out all the buds and did individual sniff tests but all just overpowered me with grapefruit.

I'm interested now to hear what the profile is of the other batches people have received. If all the same then I would be sacking my strain selector if I was 4C Labs

This was bred by matteo suleyman sea to sky canada, Heard bubba named it death but more than likely rumor, there is a thread on icmag about variation cut compared to seed, Prob an s1 of the line cos looking into recessive sensi star x critical mass produces alot of grapefruit so prob coming from sensi star in death star. Still not tried yet lol but the bubba we know is musky coffee earthy but remember it is a Hybrid so.. but going on other ppls accounts then deffo different.
