Hi,
Can anyone please advise on a decent clinic? I'm currently with relief but there flower is awful!
Or is it all like this I'm used to smoking cali and this is more standard grade

You should be able to get any flower from any clinic in theory, I think you are supposed to be able to request prescriptions to be sent to any dispensing pharmacy of your choice.

In practice I don’t know how tricky that can be.

In my experience Alternaleaf have been great. Stuff like the white runtz and death bubba is up there with most Cali imo. Or at least close enough.

Good evening and I would suggest my clinic Cannabis Clinic Cardiff as they have access to all in stock cannabis medications available in the UK and will use any pharmacy to get the product you need as this is standard practice with them as they don't have there own in house dispensary and as far I as I know are the only clinic that offer this service .

Also I will state the clinic treats mental heath so this has to be a symptom as with myself .

There are cheaper alternatives like suggested above Alternaleaf which have a good selection and a much better selection than releaf but still not complete access by any means but very satisfactory to many people.

Hi thanks it's says about pip and that does thst mean can get on that?

With PIP if you qualify your GP and NHS specialist I would imagine give supporting letters in your application as happened with my wife before she became a medical Cannabis patient and I imagine your MC prescription would support any such application to some extent .

If you can point me to the bit where it says about PIP I may be able to clear it up for you but just couldn't find it when I scanned over it just now (y)

So why the big difference with the prices? thanks
Welcome @Sickboy (y)

Heres the thread for Cardiff https://forums.medbud.wiki/threads/cannabis-clinic-cardiff.535/ + our lovely mod (yes they exist!) @GrownHealth is a patient there enjoying lots of advantages

With Alternaleaf its one of the big clinics so (far?) less service but seems to work for many. If you want to see the meds make a free account at Montu.

Theres even a new one in town - thats effectively free https://www.dispensed.co.uk/ but we don't know much about them yet.

Morning and welcome @Sickboy and it comes down to service and flexibility and with Alternaleaf they will make their money buy patients purchasing meds from their dispensary so when your prescribed your prescription is satisfied by them meaning they can cut fees for clinic services to entice potential customers in , but the problem is with not all products being available and this is fine with some people so suited to them .
With Cannabis Clinic Cardiff they are independent and do not have an attached pharmacy meaning us can use any pharmacy in the UK so obviously if something is not stocked by one pharmacy but is with another you can just send your request to where it is stocked ,also if prices are different at some pharmacies you can get access to the cheapest one and save money that way and believe me the savings can add up quick .
Also the service with Cannabis Clinic Cardiff is exemplary and the £250 joining fee is a lot to do with the 1 hour consultation you have when joining and after that it is £100( or £33 a month) every three months for a half hour consultation .
In my experience it has took all the stress/frustration out of my Medical Cannabis journey clinic and product wise and by being able to choose products from the full uk range means I can the exact products I think would help instead of compromising with what is available on my clinics formulary as happened at my previous clinic .

Also communication is a big thing for patients and recently one or two clinics are lacking on the communication with patients front but this is not a thing with CCC as they are very much Patient focussed and if you can afford the joining fee I would absolutely recommend them on my experience .

Also CCC is a Mental Health clinic but MH doesn't need to be your primary condition but just a symptom say like Arthritis is your main problem but causes anxiety or insomnia then this would be ok as MH is a symptom to be treated (y)

Feel free if you need anything more clearing up

Thanks, You got a Referral Code?

Another very happy Cannabis Clinic Cardiff patient here (y)(y)(y)

Other benefits include:

- you can split your script during the month however you want (i.e. I can have 20g today, 10g next week, 30g the day after) whereas some clinics will only write you one per month
- you see the consultant doctor each time you have a session (some clinics you don't actually see a doctor very often)
- you can contact via email as well as phone and they respond quickly

Multiple scripts per month is really good! When you say you see a doctor each time, is that every time you want to request something? Peace

No, the quarterly consultations, I don't need to talk to anyone to choose what specific items I'm being prescribed, there are just quartely check-ins and overall limits per category (e.g. grammes of flower / ml of vape carts / ml of oil / etc)

In between you can just send an email in with a screenshot of your MedBud basket for each script request

Wow that's great! Ok I might give them a ring and see what they're saying. Alternaleaf are fab in terms of value and integration with Montu, but having to request everything at once is far from ideal and it takes days for emails to get answered.

edit: oooof 250 sign up 100 per consult!? 😱 do they offer a level of service that backs that up? That seems steep but honestly might be a fair value proposition considering you can request what you want when you want it. Stock is so flipping in and out on uk medical, combine that with FOMO and half of my scripts seem to be scrambling to find stuff that is in stock and might work. Being able to order stuff when it pops up sounds very handy!

It's a lot for sure and wasn't something I did lightly, but they are worth the money in my opinion, service-wise, care-wise, and for the flexibility it gives you

All my emails have been answers same day so far, virtually all of them actually within 2 hours
Sounds fantastic to be honest mate it is a lot but I think I would make it back with flexibility, no fomo or sales pressure, and not wasting time on hold, waiting for phone calls or emails. Will have a serious think about that 🤔 cheers mate appreciate your insight into it and sharing your experience 🙏💚

Its also like myself who has spent all morning waiting to see if products that are available elsewhere come back into stock on wife's formulary so she can order them and may have to order a more expensive compromise if they don't show up . Where if it was me being at Cardiff I could get those items from elsewhere knowing it works and thus taking the element of risk out of the purchase and not paying extra for an unknown or lesser effective medicine and my feeling is if you spend a large amount on meds monthly but are then gambling on unknowns because of stock issue's etc it's sort of false economy ,lesser so if you don't need a lot of meds but many do and I echo @Lank72 points as their service is spot on too.
The £250 is a biggy but the ongoing fees can easily be balanced with getting the right meds at the cheapest prices .
