The General Life Chat Thread

They have loads of different dj nights at a pub in my town what are really good but I have not been since I got ill graeme Park plays there a lot
David Holmes plays there as well. If you like him
Blackpool clubs opened at 9 in 1991 if you weren't in the queue for 7 you weren't getting in. Sometimes you did not get in until 11 by the time they had searched everybody.
I think that's what made it so good when you got in
I am all for chilling on the beach

Leeds mainly for me and we'd arrive at about 10:30 :rolleyes: but blackpool yes it was chocca within minutes of opening and queueing outside for ages but luckily the bouncers or a bouncer from our local pub was on the door and got us in 🙏 😁

I've been volunteering at a local not-for-profit festival all week.

Insanely long days, little sleep, endless challenges, very emotional, and virtually everyone there is disabled or struggling in some way.

It's like a model community of how you can achieve great things when people's difficulties are accomodated and supported, and their abilities are noticed and encouraged.

I would call it therapy more than a holiday but I have 5 days off now to chill and recover, and find out what you lot have left me in the pharmacies ;)

Missed you lot

Regards the forum it has been quieter than usual and we've not soon @node for a week now and hope all is well with him and maybe he's just took a timeout 🙏 and @Lank72 I think is getting a planned and looked forward to break but in their absence it has definitely been a lot quieter in da hood !!

Sadly I don't feel the same of this forum now and its moderation... Time away has given me space to think and it would need serious changes + commitment from MedBud including policies around full transparency, users meeting IRL, our data (is it even airgapped @Muiredach ?) - EDIT>I've made a thread. https://forums.medbud.wiki/threads/requests.4999/ Also the recent show/shoah was embarrasing to be part of, let alone witness. Either of you are welcome to reach out to me on here or separately. First thing get POLLS in here so we can decide how things are - remember us patients @Muiredach ?

sorta was more a show it felt to me at least eg been no price drops on CB1 Medical past 10days (unless @GrownHealth or other patients/carers with access who saw any discounts?) so to me and others it looked like a staged competition. I'd be more interested in full/ as much transparency from all industry peeps who operate in this space. Too much money involved for the usuals not to game (or try to) every single aspect relating to their beloved money mate. I think some may of borrowed large amounts of money at 0% (actually from very dangerous people) who are expecting erm "a full extraction" from us poor patients. Lot of pressure on everyone I think? Do u feel it? I do. Money mainly.

Absolutely. Until we can grow our own, and buy freely from dispensaries, we are going to be picking the 'least-worst' options, and getting raided the whole time
 
Moon has been here today and I hope he's ok but we've not had a conversation for a couple of days thinking about it .
Unfortunately Node had made several nasty/rude comments on the forum to other members and staff recently and we tried to diffuse the situation but unfortunately we had to issue a ban:(

Hey i am okay, just a really busy time with work and medical issues, i still catch up here very night, just not posted much, was in Manchester yeaterday @GrownHealth at Christies for my 6 monthly ct scan, nearly gave you a shout here, but was worried about the storm on the motorway so shot home! Sorry to read that about node, as in sorry he's gone and sorry he's been rude to staff here.

I think I'm going to start posting in this thread every Tuesday. Bit like a check-in Tuesday!

I know there's a lot of patients who deal with a lot on a daily basis and sometimes its makes things to share the load a little bit.

So whether you just want to tell us about your new microwave or maybe you want to talk a little about how you're feeling and what's going on. Maybe you want to rave about your in laws or the weather. It really doesn't matter.

So this is me checking in, on a Tuesday to see how you're all doing.

I'll go first! I'm having a right shit week!
First my therapist told me she's retiring, then it was my dad's birthday yesterday (he died in 2002 when I was a kiddo, this year stuck with me more for some reason though) and work is being a right pain in the ass today. - On the upside I'm allowed to start training a little bit from today, so I'll be an excited school child come 530PM!

But more importantly, How are you?
