Intros Newbie to the camp

Hi everyone. Just signed up, seeking cannabis guidance and shared views. Been on medical for six months and still navigating the 'lottery' aspect of sourcing good terpene flower for my medical needs. 20+ with BM, so I'm still a bit stuck in the mindset of that style of purchase. Trying to source regular good flowers that don't disappoint too often. Monies a factor when you're paying out 85 for 10g's each whack, lol . So far, I tend to check the total terpene values where listed, and have been going through the forum on here to see what you lot are saying about flower etc... Well, hopefully, I can continue to source good flower with MC. So far, Yoda cap, ripped off runtz, and sourdough haven't disappointed. However, I guess you would expect that for 85 a pop.

Welcome, similar story to many of us long-time self-medicators

Obviously everyone is different and depends on what your specific needs are as you'll know, but if you want a couple of cheaper recommends, something like Strawberry Cake (White Widow basically I believe) or Phants D1 minis (smalls) might surprise you at only £6/g each and are well though of by folks on here

My all time favourite so far for £8/g is Lucy in the Sky

Welcome @terpzman and like many of here you've used BM for many years ,I'm liking the Ripped off Runtz at the moment and it's definitely one of the better ones I've come across .
Using the total terpene content can be a good guide but I find word of mouth round here as reliable as anything but the problem is once one stands out it's gone OOS not long after but there are plenty of strains about just now it's just a case of weeding through them to sort the wheat from the chaff and hopefully that £85 comes down as some are proving decent around the £7 mark now

thanks for heads up. Yeah, saving a buck or two is on the top of my to-do list. Wanna try filter out 85's for Xmas times. Literally spending 550 a month. Gonna make note of the strains you suggested, absolute winner mate. Ta.

No worries at all, have a look at the individual strain threads on here, 'What are you Consuming Today' thread can get a bit chatty in a good way but will also include a lot of gem recommendations in a single thread, and ask any specific questions you have people will try and help or recommend strains based on any criteria you have

You're right buddy. Shared community advice is the way to go. I tried reddit but it's proper toxic for me, lol. Hopefully the near future purchasing of MC, levels out to the BM cheap days experience of 140's - 160's for decent mids. I think 270's is a madness, really.

Welcome to the Community @terpzman, there is flower coming down in price all the time which is good to see, sometimes it can be gone before your script is ready to go in as @GrownHealth has mentioned. The strawberry cake by 4C Labs had lots of terpenes, quite a nice taste, as@Lank72 mentioned it was a decent strain, cheap too. The Alaskan Thunder isn't a bad strain, its very skunky when opening the packet up, that's from 4C Labs and they do tend to have decent tasting strains and at decent prices . The Northern Lights by PharmaServ was a bargain at £4.50 too, plenty of taste and aroma.

Thanks for the shout mate. Appreciate you. Yeah, just had Alaskan Thunder but found it a bit inconsistent. Some buds were medicating me well, while others weren't. Found it went real quickly as well. Smell wise, most of it smelled like the old days flower. I'm gonna take a punt on the 4C Labs strawberry next week then. Red pack, right? 55.

Same. Now I'm on MC I can be fussy, and 'choosy', so I thought let me try some Sativas and see how I get on. They just don't hit me enough, and generally feel like they're erm, morning flowers max. Literally on my last 3g of Jack herer, and tbd it's a nice flower, but not worth 85 squid, lol. Indicas just make sense for me as there more elaborate, innit.

Definitely a Morning Strain, Sativas are for most people. It depends on your Health Condition/s what strains work best for you.

Hybrids for that matter, yeah all day. Have you ever tried lemon berry? Absolute giggles all night every night after 20+ years of medicating. Just can't get it on MC

I've not tried the Lemon berry it sounds a decent strain.

No mate I haven't tried those before. Was scared they were gonna be really muted. Can you confirm otherwise?

They are not muted at all. I have had 40g of the fire og and have ordered another 20g as well. The apple fritter I have only had 10g of but that was the best one.
I have the fruity pebbles coming in the morning but I have seen a review saying this is the best one .

I just think a lot of medical is overpriced and these are good value at £154 oz
