Hi All,
I had my initial Curaleaf consult sat 13th, paid for the prescription today, so a few more days and I’ll have my first MC. Also managed to get a travel letter issued as going to Portugal in a couple of weeks. So far so good!

First prescription is as I requested from the doctor in my initial consultation, 20g each of the following,
Safricanna Jack Herer
Safricanna Purple punch
Curaleaf Lavinder cake

I’ve seen some good feedback on the Lavinder cake but can’t find any reviews for the purple or the jack, I would be interested to know if anyone has tried them?

I suffer from chronic headaches and vaping bud keeps me functioning and able to work full time. Hopefully the MC works for me and I find the right strains.

Two of your selections are new to us where as the lavender cake many of us have enjoyed in the past but I have had other Safricanna products before and they were ok considering the price and I found them useful to use and you may be one of the first members here to have these new products so we'd be most grateful of any feedback you may have and lets hope your meds are with you as soon as can be

Thank you for the welcome @GrownHealth. Looking forward to trying the MC and posting my feedback. It looks like Safricanna is greenhouse/ sun grown, any ideas how this changes the final MC product? I’ve only ever had indoor grown bm bud as far as I know.

To be fair the products I've tried you wouldn't of noticed the any difference and the Black Cherry Punch T25 from last year many of us still talk about it now as it was really effective and pleasant all round to use .
I imagine greenhouse/sun grown will be a facility that is indoor but with a glass roof that has a blackout option when needed as to utilise the sun they're blessed with .

There are loads of good strains mate it will work for you it is just a bit expensive.
Read as many reviews as you can and watch some videos and you will soon find the right strains for what you need

Thank you @JR52. I only realised a few weeks ago that I could be eligible for medical cannabis, wife pushed me into getting an appointment. I found MedBud last week and started looking at the buds and watching the reviews… feels like I’ve made a start and looking forward to learning and as I go. I was a daily cannabis user from 1988 to the mid 2000s so have experienced most of the older strains and really looking forward to experiencing the new ones. I re started vaping cannabis with a pax 3 about a year ago and it has worked so far for my condition. Have a new mighty + sitting on the shelf with assorted accessories, don’t want to contaminate it with bm bud lol

Thank you for the info and hope this continues to do the trick for your partner . It’s a debilitating condition so any relief is welcomed. Bm bud works most of the time but not always, I’m hoping I will work out which strains / terpenes/ THC levels give the best outcome for me.

Its trial and error sometimes but you will find the strains that work for you

It has. For over a year now 0.2g every 2-4 weeks and she hasn't needed to use the NHS's horrible sumatriptan. Those nasal sprays cost £25+ each and she would be using 3-4 a day.

Some but not as radical as the microdose. Sadly it's only at research stage and NICE and the govt are slow to catch up. It is however almost that time of year when you can find your own medication and 10g would give you a microdose every week for the whole year

As I say I don't have the particulars locked down on what is about it which helps with migraines in particualr, I just know Lucy helps the most for me and that's what I reach for when one starts to come on now, doesn't always fix it outright but always an improvement

I am managing multiple conditions / symptoms so it's a bit like playing whack-a-mole for me at times to be honest and not every day is the same

Have tagged someone else who might be able to give more info / recs / details on the specific topic

Well as if summoned by talking about it I got a bastard of one started last night, right side fore head temple and eyesocket still going on up until now

Whole body pains aches nausea the lot bar puking

managed to stuff down enough sourdough and plat. slurricane last night to sleep through some of it, woke early, bedbound, and immediately started on Lucy through this morning

Taken this episode from a 7/10 (where 10 is ) to more like a 4 where I've been able to eat something now and get in the bath to soothe the aches

Hasn't fixed it but made a huge difference. I'm back in bed now but fed watered and clean and the pain is still there but it much more manageable. Without it possibly the weekend would be written off

First migraine since getting black jelly so just about to have some of that and see if that helps with the rest of the day, will report back

Well Black Jelly helped as a painkiller, I knew it was a good daytime body painkiller but now I know it also does brain / migrainepain I shall be getting a jar for this one and keeping it re-stocked

Really helped me through the rest of yesterday, feelingmuch better today, in the final stages of it
