The General Life Chat Thread

We've got a caravan an hour down the coast, it's on a site but not your average kind of caravan site...was a farmer's field at one point in time and he's still our landlord, but there's no facilities (apart from boat parking...) and it's only a seven month season April-October, which is about as much as you'd want to tolerate weather-wise here.

Took it over from herself's uncle about 20 years ago and replaced it four years ago with a brand new one...that was not a cheap endeavour!
The kids adore it though, they're proper 'free-range weans' whilst we're there, they've got paddleboards and want to go jetty jumping at every opportunity (in wetsuits and life jackets lest they get hypothermia!)

It's quite the change from one of the mentalest parts of Glasgow...😂

Rock and Roll weekend working away in Surrey. Had a crack at this jigsaw last night. (I know I know, absolute carnage 😃😄)

In seriousness, managed to hang out with one of my friends who lives in Berlin, her partner grows also and they’re both medical users.

First time I’ve spoken in person with another woman at length about terpenes and strain genetics and it was delicious!

Happy weekend everyone.

Anyone doing anything nice?
I worked today, and I’ve got a horrible cold so I’m feeling sorry for myself on the sofa with a heated blanket and a cuppa.

It’s both my best friends birthdays this weekend (one was 40) and so I’m seeing one tomorrow, and one on Monday, excited to see them both ❤️

Whatever you’re doing. Hope you have a relaxed one xx

Happy weekend.
Just been watching real life all day on YouTube and so, and realized its chill time
So i've just put on a bit of acoustic music and going to start the new series of Ancient Apocalypse The Americas on netflix.
Probably get to 11:00 and crumble :ROFLMAO: but that's a good thing.
Good to see you've got something to look forward to the next couple of days spending time with pals.

How’s everyone doing?

Clocks changed and set for a day of pottering in the garden.
I work on Saturdays so Sundays my fave day.

I was interviewed for a podcast this week and spoke mainly about my own health journey, some plant medicine talk and philosophy alongside tattoo talk. If anyone fancies a listen.

We started watching professor cox new series this week and it’s absolutely mind blowing!

Morning,
Just listening to some music trying to quell the revolutionary in me for the day 😁
We'll have a listen to the said podcast , hope you enjoyed it, no tattoo's for me but tother half is a bit partial to "skin graffiti" and i'm sure it'll be interesting listening.
Enjoy your day off pottering in the garden , been unseasonably warm here up north last couple of days and been able to do a bit of gardening myself ,well clearing leaves at least.

I shall continue to type into the void here…!

Got my review on Thursday. Going to ask them if they could let my GP know I’m a patient. As it simply looks like I’m not actually treating my ADHD. 🙃

Suddenly got colder here in the south west, I’ve been managing to get out and do some landscaping in the front garden. Built a little dry stone wall and rockery up at our porch.

Started rewatching Red Dwarf last night for the 200th time. I blame this forum entirely

Morning everyone

I thought it’d be nice to have a little chat thread, share some pet pics, chat about other stuff you’re up to or whatever.

If no one’s keen then that’s also fine 😂❤️

Final bits of the summer harvest are coming in this week really, winter veg is on its way! Hopefully carrots parsnips sprouts and cauliflower on Christmas Day from the garden this year.

Loads of fun garden jobs on the list this winter, major landscaping of the front garden and side of house needs to be done ready for planting next year.

I’ve got 2 dogs, whippets. Rocco (7) and Betty (approx 2?) and 3 cats, and a wonderful husband.

I’d definately be quite happy doing nothing more than pottering in the garden. Tending a vegetable patch and reading to pass the days, but alas I am still a working artist, and I do love that to.

Looking forward to finding out more about some of you 🥰
I have apple pear and cherry tree in my garden the apples and pears give too much but I'm yet to see a cherry 7years since planted l. Also get blackberries they not wanted the neighbours garden is overgrown.

I'll type into the echo chamber 😇

Absolutely knackered today and it's like my thoughts have even had spelling mistakes in them, hopefully asleep soon but you never know.

Been watching the news for the last hour with a smirking presenter 🙃.

Hoping to wake up supercharged an ready to go again in the morning. :coffee:

Don't watch news spirals my mood they do it on purpose. Legacy media behind about 60% of mental health problems. With social media not far behind and catching fast up fast. Constant reruns of ideal bottom south park red dwarf and trailer park boys here. Mainly south park I know grown adult watches cartoons all day is sad but have ya tried watching day time tv?. Few hours of whoopi or Jeremy Kyle I would be admitted onto mental ward for a sudden 50point drop in IQ and eating my own hand.

You can learn to read the media ,as in what they're not saying and co-ordinated talking points that spread through the mainstream usually preconditioning people to be more acceptive of their next move ,once you understand that, the media can be a great source for what's going on ,just not what they're actually saying.
Not that I watch it anymore ,find my own news sources and use my gut as a filter for truth ,it tends to have my best interest at heart 😁

The best method I have found is the "third door" as it will never be the polarised doors 1 and 2.

Perhaps it’s an ornamental cherry tree? Those don’t make fruit just blossom xx

On the subject of sugar, This is a far better sweetener... and from a plant 💚💚💚💚
