After 72 Christmaseseses I'm sorry to say the novelty has worn off.I remember simpler times. The need to rest defines holidays for me now so we prefer peace and quiet, but very much enjoy Whatsapping the broods and listening to sugar fuelled grandkids running around like lunatics... Their stuck with it, payback time for me I shout, but they don't hear me as junior No3 has broken the cardboard box castle they all built , much weeping and wailing.

Then, peace.. as I am partial to lots of Brussel Sprouts with freshly ground black pepper , for some reason the after effects keeps visitors away.
