Hope it works out well for you, I was put off by all the feedback on gamma initially, and I think it does take something away from the bud for sure, but I've had a few now and as long as it was good bud to start with it'll be fine.

Has anyone received this one yet? I ended up ordering it last night so hoping it's decent like the other strains I've had from gsr. Should be here tomorrow with any luck.

I know different companies have been known to have their own version of a strain but this is the description I found that made me take a gamble on it.

As far as i know, OGKB is a renaming of the original cookies cut, back before all the bagseeds and variations came out. It used to be very tightly held, and the OGKB monicker was used because the cut was shared by ogkushbreath.

OGKB 2.0 was a bagseed from one of ogkushbreath's dispensary drops, and that one was passed around a lot more widely.

Then I think okgb v2.1 was released by in-house genetics, and also ogkb v2.1 ix, and ogkb 2.0 bx. I think there were a couple other ogbk backcrosses by other seed companies too.

I'd love to know which version they are growing, but i know i've found some amazing weed from genetics related to those lines in the past, so i can't imagine it will disappoint, especially at that price!

This. We haven't directly confirmed which variant it is (don't think IPS know), but assumed the original GSC phenotype because '2.0' etc isn't mentioned.

Great info, thanks . I'm well out of touch with seed banks and genetics since everything changed 15-20 years ago with where the seed companies were. Back in my day it was mainly Netherlands and then production started elsewhere in the world with many new crosses and producers etc.

Strong Indica Hybrid effects. Good pain relief. This is top value for 45 quid. Nicer than plenty of stuff I’ve paid 85 for.

All the gsr strains have been winners for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find the new pave bat h to be better than the reduced stuff as well so was happy with that for £4.50 also.

All the gsr strains have been winners for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find the new pave bat h to be better than the reduced stuff as well so was happy with that for £4.50 also.

It doesn't really come across well with my phone but the newer pave is defo frostier I'd say. Here is the last batch of pave 34 next to the new batch of pave on the right. I used similar sized buds to try and give a fair comparison but properly looks more significant of a different in hand I'd say.

It's defo a winner for me but then I ended up getting the OGKB a day later and I've been using that since yesterday. Must be time to have a bit of the pave again I guess.

Lol. I've been all stocked up for months but this damn gsr bug has got me.. I see a new one and I can't resist. I wouldn't blame ya for picking some up. It was defo worth it for anyway. Heaven forbid we are stuck with no bargains for a month or so I should be quite comfortable not stressing about putting on order in.

In fact for my own financial benefit, it might be a good idea if there's no new gsr strains for a while coz damn I just can't resist

How are people finding this compared to the cherry cheesecake effects wise?

For me this sets a new bar in terms of quality/value. It’s comfortably as good as the likes of Aurora® in my opinion and I think even competes with a lot of the craft stuff too. You’d never know it was gamma, no shortage of moisture or terpenes. Nice and ripe. Smooth juicy vapour. Face melting effects with a strong body high and complete goldfish brain. Can easily believe it’s 28%. Nice one Tilray
