Lovely wasn't it. It's going to take more brave souls like this risking confrontations and altercations before we can generally be comfortable being able to take our medication where and when we need it.
Wrote it the other day and I'm going to write it again, 23 years being made to feel like scum for taking the only effective medication for my disabilities and long-term conditions, I feel like we are at the beginning of the end of that.
Every conversation we have, every new patient, every brave soul like this putting their health on the line to exercise their rights.
Cannabis is medicine, free it up, we suffer enough without stigma, discrimination and abuse too

Thanks for sharing. This shows that we are able to medicate when we need to. Just be polite and respectful. Have copies of the equality act and medical cannabis document.

Your video talking about how to approach these people and venues and what you consider a success (awareness) has been very eye-opening for me.
I Deal with C-PTSD and I'm also Autistic so being calm in these situations is incredibly rough for me. I get nuclear quick and I think your framing can be really helpful for me going forward. so thank you for that.

The issue of going “nuclear” is such a real issue for me. A win in my book is to be able to discuss with others without losing control of my emotions. Heck, just going out for a hot drink like in the knockback video is a win to be truthful.
I’m not going to be making loads of videos, but what I have made I hope helps others overcome the same obstacles.

It's not something I like either, an unfortunate consequence of C-PTSD. Hence why I just avoid avoid avoid at the moment.
Anyway, I'm currently sitting in the Birmingham Airport Sunflower room after having a little chat with their team.
I had your videos in mind, came from your perspective and everything was good for me.
I'm currently sipping on a Sourdough cart. an hour before boarding.

I personally don't buy the smell as a valid excuse. I will die on the hill that there is no right to not smell something and if someone is relying on that then they get lumped in with those complaining about the smell of curries in the 70s and 80s.
It reminds me of people being offended by breast feeding.

I'm vegan. I go to a non-vegan restaurant and I have to smell meat and eggs, fish, etc. I dont like it, it makes me feel sick if I go into a place which sells it. Tough shit.
I'm autistic, I'm over sensitive to smells, people's diesel-esque perfume assaulting my senses on the bus, etc. Tough shit.
Stigma and not being used to something doesn't mean people can interpret the law differently
In a public place you will smell public smells. Tough shit. (Literally sometimes)
