I wouldn't say it is old, there is moisture in the buds, stickiness. I am not unhappy with it I had simply hoped it was one that forced the eyelids closed for me. edit Do agree the price could be better.

After having used this for a few evenings now, I have to agree it isn't knockout, it puts you in the right sort of sublime calm state ready to drift off, but stops short of forcing the eyelids closed.
