I might email Alternaleaf and try this out because agreed it's a common sense approach & vaping carts can be a bit of a lifesaver if a person is around people who don't like the smell. this price range is good though I hope this encourages other producers to follow suit

Can also be instant pain relief for people with dexterity problems where as organising a dry herb vape for some is a nightmare in the moment of need .

Just requested one of these and was shocked to find with Alternaleaf it counts as 20 grams on my allowance apparently technically 24 grams by their calculations as it's 1.2ml. I really don't understand the maths on that but hopefully it's effective

I did see a post yesterday elsewhere saying a couple of clinics are doing this but your clinic is addressing the problem I read and reducing it down to 10g within the next week .

I will try and find the info from Aurora® canada where i`m sure it said on website and a term to describe it where it said that 0.25g extract was equivalent to 1gram of flower so that should be compared to wtf is happeneing here.

Also on Aurora® canada was compassionate pricing and goverment subsidy all which we should be fighting for.

Yeah it’s mad mate. I could swear I read somewhere on the Aurora® website it takes 8.8g of flower to make each cart. 10 per cart feels about right to me.

So how does the uk differ from canada would could should it be different and just because we are in its infancy well 7 nearly 8 years since medical programs intoduced.

Prices seem to reflect this too but seem to be trending downward, aside from some outliers like the cookies packs. 55/ml for these is great, it way undercuts the competition so and it will be interesting to see the knock on effect. I can’t imagine anyone preferring distillate based carts to these really, especially for more money as it currently stands.

As you can see its Government equivalency factors based on product weight and theres Licensed producers equivalency factors based on product which will be cannabinoid content

If you go to vapes you will see the dry flower comparison below it and goes from 0.5 - 1.2 and it doesn`t go over 7g alot coming in at 5.5g as ye can see below.

So still coming in at roughly 5g max 7g and looked at hash 2g of hash = 6g flower
1g of live rosin = 7 g to 9g
1g of shatter = 5g

I will take 10 g of shatter please lol and 30g of flower for my monthly allowance of 80g

They are in the process of changing it to 10g of allowance confirmed this during review with alternaleaf on weds
