She hasn't been using much, so it's probably going to be an ok limit for her, and she's not one to ask questions if that makes sense so not exactly sure

I feel you mate but good to hear it should be ok for her. If it's any reassurance though, when I asked about allowances, it seemed they have a vague interest to lower where possible, but requests to increase would be met with little friction

What a shambles these lot have turned into.

Put my repeat in for 60g on a Monday didnt find out till Wednesday that three strains off my script was OOS/NNR ok no problems it happens. I hold off ordering the other three until the rewrite. Im asked what strains I want to swap too I give my alternatives and wait another three days. The script gets to Montu and somehow my script now only has the new three strains and the original three are gone. So now I've had another rewrite with another three day wait. Meanwhile on reddit etc I see brand new patients being onboarded and theyve got meds are arriving on the third day? Lucky bm saved me this month I doubt ill order anything MC this month now. Rant over have a blessed weekend

Proper frustrating stuff pal and thankfully bm has saved you this month but they do need to sort these issues pronto as more and more patients are voicing their frustration with them now and it can't go on unresolved .

Sorry to hear - this is terrible. It wouldn't suprise me - Big Business insatiable greed dictates add new customers at all costs so screw the existing + offer new peeps much better deal / service to start. Fook em - Have a good weekend

This is the situation I was pointing to as the next bad place almost from the problems with my wife's meds this month

It's just so messy and disjointed the way they work it

I'd be mega frustrated with this too, shocking

Happy days! Love to hear it. Can’t speak to the French cookies but the sourdough is a lovely one hope they work well for you

I told the doc i 1smoke pure joints 3 or 4 a day. Average 1 to 1.2g per joint.

She was like no you dont thats to much. I was thinking i know people who smoke more than me lol. Not sure if she actually took it in i smoke that much lol

They should reserve your medication as soon as you order it

They used to do this but they don't give a clear reason why it changed.

My take is that plenty of patients don't get their full script and may buy in 40/60g for example. As a result medication gets put aside for 28 days when other patients could have used it, so in order to maintain their weak stock levels they've returned to a first come first served policy when ordering medication.

5g per day is some achievement! But I also know some pain patients who can knock down a Q before lunch time.

I think they're mostly used to patients using <1g per day.

Kind words are appreciated everyone thank you. In their defense it has never been this bad so im hoping this is a small fixable issues. I've just seen there's a load more various price strains coming so hopefully eases the issue.

I just feel sorry for the people who don't have any back up options and need meds.

Digitised support. On paper, it sounds like progress. Streamlined, efficient, modern. Montu moving to digital-only services might be seen as a natural evolution—but for patients like me, already navigating a complicated health landscape, it raises more questions than it answers.

Is it really a step forward? Or is it another way of putting more distance between us and the care we need?

From the outside, digital tools could be helpful:

Booking and tracking prescriptions without hold music? Yes please.

Secure messaging instead of repeating yourself to five different people? Sounds good...

Is anyone adjusting their schedule with repeat requests?

Mine is technically next due October 3rd, ordinarily I’d feel comfortable not putting that in until the 1st, but I think I’m going to be a bit more cautious and put it in the Friday before this time?

I presume they just don’t process it until your due date?
I cocked up last time and didn’t book my review early enough and ended up ten days late, and without meds

Alternaleaf now have a live chat feature! Hopefully this will speed up the responsiveness we get from the clinic.

I'm always quite quick to moan about these chaps so I'll give them credit where it's due.

My script is due on Sunday of all days, I'm sending it to IPS and have emailed it expecting it to take a few days.

To my surprise however, they replied within the hour actioning it immediately to avoid the shortfall delay in sending it to IPS.

I can't really fault them here at all and it's quite surprising given the issues they've been having. But maybe those issues are coming to an end?

I did notice that as well, some new brands I've not seen before as well. Hopefully this is the start of things getting back to normal

Wow that’s fast! I also found them extraordinarily speedy today. 48 hours after sending my repeat request email I got the response and “prescription heading to pharmacies” notification email, decent but nothing to write home about, but then the Montu payment link came through just 1 hour later!
