Hi people

I'm very new to medical and have been prescribed Soma tincture, but it's not my preferred way of medication; however, the physician wouldn't prescribe flower for vaping which does work well for me. I understand the reason for this (COPD) but I have no adverse effects using a vape, and worry the tincture could interact with other medication I've been taking for 30 years and trigger a seizure.

How much say do I have in my treatment? With releaf UK
Any advice welcomed

Hi @jockscoff

Welcome to MedBud!

I see your issue here. You're with Releaf. I'm sure you're aware of their reputation as a scammy clinic. Every bit of medication you buy has a 50% makeup compared to every other clinic and pharmacy, not to mention many other clinics are also cheaper.

But in answer to your question Releaf are doctors led so you get little to no say other than discussions with the doctor.

Most clinics are patient led which means you make the decisions. You may find some clinics are equally as wary about the COPD diagnosis but I believe you would enjoy far more freedom at literally any other clinic (except maybe Curaleaf - not scammy but equally as restrictive).
