Flower Humble Bud CR Smalls T25 Cadillac Rainbow

Got this yesterday because something I wanted was OOS. A cheaper gamble but still not cheap, you get it. Couldn't assess it properly, so from a cold start here goes...Sniffed the jar after sitting with boveda overnight, still the same faint chemical whiff, very similar to Strawberry Cake, but very muted. Different family tree so must be the terpinolene which they share. These are "minis" but as you can see the nugs are quite chunky, there were a couple of that size along with some popcorn sized. Immediately when I saw this I thought, "oh no, they must be cheap for another reason", yeah they were. Near death, very dry, doesn't vape well and is very muted. I screwed up initially, dosing cap in a Lobo, temp was at max from last night, 221C, forgot to put it back to 170C, threw it on my bubbler and dosed it all in a few hits. Not much happening so repeated the process with the usual temp stepping, 170 then 190 then 210 and up. It must be a bit of a creeper, started feeling something around the 190 part of second session. Stopped to type this, it's got some benefits, slight bit of mood enhancement, slight bit of pain relief, slight bit of focus. Basically it's a shadow of its former self that's maybe spent too long on the shelf. Cannabis is an amazing medicine, unlike paracetamol and codeine there is some enjoyment to be had during consumption; if that is part of your personal entourage effect then this isn't your flower. If you are skint just now and want something cheap and chonky that does work but minimally then part with your readies. I think though that if you tried hard enough you could easily find something better for the same price that ticks all the boxes. Was it an outright total disappointment? No. Is it good enough to make me happy? No. Is it good enough? Erm, maybe...Dunno. Do I want to dip into one of my current alternatives immediately after? Eh....Well...I'm hungry. Actually feeling pretty good. So there you go, almost in real time. Maybe some boxes are ticked after all.

Appreciate your review, well detailed and thought out 👍🏼

It seems across the board these Humble Bud products are all extremely dry which has led to an incredible amount of terpenes being lost.

Came back to say, it's responding well to moisture, producing lots of smooth vapour, much happier with the purchase, it's okay for the price but far from fabulous.
 
Not sure if a packaging error as with some other smalls or if there like “you should see our big ones” as not what expected from having previous smalls but had the same on the watermelon Zkittlez and grey goose from Humble Bud

Lovely smell but not had it long enough to review
