Hey everyone,
I'm new to the market, not the product itself, and I'm blown away. The market is robust and so interesting. Because of where I was when I started, I went with Medicann and have zero complaints - I posted a review of them before I realised we were meant to introduce ourselves first, so hey!
I've been prescribed MC for insomnia as a primary indication, with additional ones on PTSD, anxiety and depression. My previous use was recreational initially, and then became therapeutic as I found it helped fix my sleep for periods even after I'd consumed. The metaphor I use is imagining a thought rolling down a hill, then it snowballs, the medication is kind of like taking a heater to the snowball and gently melting it. But, being told about different varieties and learning about terpenes from a medical professional was a huge eye-opener.
The other thing that shocked me about the market in mainland UK was how it's primarily remote, because I lived on a crown dependency and Medicann has a physical clinic. I've now actually moved from the island to England, so I'm registered with Medicann UK now.
My preference is carts; I'd be open to a dry herb vape because it's a method I haven't tried, but my concern is the smell of the medication, especially 10g+ of it, and also consuming discreetly in public. The oils are something I'd also be interested in trying, but it's not a delivery method I've used before for anything.
I'm really excited to learn more about the market, discuss developments in the regulations, and see how things change across the board with the market, the public, the politics, and everything else!
