Botanical Health Dispensary have been around since the yesteryears of UK medical cannabis, back when there was <5,000 patients. Co-founded by Hannah Deacon, may she rest in peace - she was instrumental in the original law change which legalised medical cannabis back in 2018 – before her untimely death last year, from cancer.

For a while they've been quite obscure to general patients, though many in the industry use them - and I've heard a lot of good feedback over time. They've been selling below RRP for years now. It feels like they finally gained the confidence to make others aware.

This tweet from us went around the industry last week, pointing out anti-price fixing laws explicitly – with predictions of massive pharmacy undercutting this year:



We've had nothing to publish on them in terms of formulary so far, until we finally got our hands on a copy yesterday. Some flower is literally 30-40% off RRP.

Thanks a lot for the history behind it as I looked at their clinic thread and saw that it was not a new clinic + had never heard it mentioned.

Pharmacy, not a clinic - but yes, they've been a staple of the industry since MedBud first launched, actually launched before we did at the start of 2022.

Having had this for a few weeks now I still can't really work out what it tastes of in the vape, its complex and tastes nice. Really wish I could order more, although this is now back on the formulary at Mamedica® again so perhaps there is more coming?

So this arrived yesterday. Delicious, effective medication, mmmmm, wish I had more.



This is what my 10g looked like, very chunky dense nugs, for reference that top right nug the largest one is 3.70g, and the bottom nug is 2.95g, the rest are around 0.75g - 1.00g. This is still a little dry but has some stick to it.




This is absolutely caked in trichomes.



It smells of musky dank funk (trans-Caryophyllene), with a sweet ginger smell punching through (farnesene), and a background hint of earthiness (Myrcene).

I remember it tasted nice when I had it last night but I will update with specifics later.

It is an almost euphoric type of feeling, very effective at reducing anxiety, made me feel extremely happy and content, very good for sleep made my body feel like I was made of lead and I even got couch lock which I only ever get once in a blue moon due to tolerance.

Edit.
Would I get this again? Absolutely.
