Most people use a dedicated simple cart battery. Only has voltage adjust, you may be better off with one of those. Yocan are a good brand found on Amazon and fleabay, I have several 8)

Ah yes, you'll need to turn it down as low as it will go, test and step up slowly. The dedicated cart power units start at 2 to 2.2volts. Too much and you will zap the cart. Can you use a voltage mode on that Aegis?
