On another curaleaf related thread a MC supplier said "Taste and smell can vary from strain to strain and from 1 batch to another. Taste and smell of the flower does not affect the therapeutic effect expected from the flower." - I imagine this being rolled out every time we complain about taste...

Found this about freeze drying bud. I am even more annoyed. It should be stated on the pack.

That is my guess - otherwise, it makes no sense to freeze dry. Lets hope that Glass Pharms concentrate on the product rather than the packaging!

In my opinion they have blown a great opportunity to flood the UK market with a home-grown, non-irradiated and (hopefully) cheaper product. Other new European producers are coming on stream now - fingers crossed that someone knows what good bud is. .............back to Peace Naturals for me.

Is the drying process that expensive? I understand that freeze drying is very quick compared to a natural drying process, but it appears to suck all the goodness out of the flower. Do the producers ever sample the end product? Do they have any quality control??? The state-of-the-art growing...

Don't hold your breath. I have read that this bud is freeze dried, a technique rejected by most top producers. Presumably this method removes the need to irradiate? - otherwise why do it, if it ruins the bud?

The bud has the feel of popcorn. It grinds into dust very easily. Someone described it as polystyrene - a good description.

I have been on medical over 6 months and this is the worst strain I have suffered. No taste, no smell, no effects - absolute garbage. I had such high hopes for UK grown.
