🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 CB1 Medical
👋 Decided to join in, got lots of good advise on this website, invaluable resource, but only just joined the forum.

I started with CB1 Medical recently and so far a good experience, although I'd like them to increase my THC limit. I've self-medicated for a couple decades, so I kinda know what works for me.

Bit of a learning experience, I'm used to less modern strains, Blueberry, Big Bud, White Widow, Bubblegum, AK-47, Haze, so all of these modern names is a bit of mystery. I used to smoke with tobacco ( ) in my 20's. Totally stopped for around 5 years at one point about 15 years ago, after restarting using a tobacco substitute, now vaping for last few years - which I much prefer, cleaner and obviously healthier.

I do know I really like Gorilla Glue 4, tried it in Spain a few years ago and got a non-irradiated one in a previous prescription since going on the Medical. For me it felt more like I'd traditionally call a Sativa, although it seems that the Sativa/Indica naming has fallen out of fashion, or purely describes the physical look of the plant (narrow or wide leaves). Anyway I looked at the parents of GG4 and it feature a lot of Sativa's.

My all time favourite strain is Super Silver Haze, which I've many times in Amsterdam and grown myself many moons ago, does wonders if you can get the balance just right (better for me to undershoot, or go slow).

Currently trying a balanced THC/CDB 1:1 (Type 2) strain, quite liking it in the day, but requires more frequent vaping.

I'm keeping a diary of each strain I try and the profiles to try and become more educated in narrowing down what works for me best from a medical (and occasionally recreational) perspective.

Welcome Kaz mate

Whats your budget for flower? Re GG : I love this one (at least now only when discounted) but August ETA on it.

Also did they give a reason for your THC restriction? Can you get ATG - its T29 - if it was in stock?

Welcome Kaz.

Just in case you're not aware - Curaleaf (and their sub brand Finds) High Silver is Super silver Haze. Its on the budget end of the spectrum as well so it's always consideredi one of the better bangs for your buck.

Welcome to the forum Kaz 👏

Like you say with the old strains it was similar experience for me as the names evolved but I'm finding my feet with the newer genetics but still lookout for the traditional strains when there is a nice example of them ,Personally would love to see a nice Blueberry appear on medical and there is supposed to be a Cheese strain here very soon so 🤞

They didn't really give a reason, I wonder if it's a waiting thing, like they want you to start lower. I'll bring it up at our next meeting. It's not that I want to even always get a strain because it's stronger, it's just I want the option as many of the strains I like happen to be the stronger ones, but mostly you have to vape less when they are stronger. But of course you get a higher (no pun intended) spike in effects. It's all tradeoffs.

Budget-wise I'm very fortunate and can afford any of the flower prices.

Thanks! Unfortuently I can't see High Sliver on the menu for CB1 Medical, but I will keep my eye out for it as they do have Curaleaf. I'd very happy to get my hands on some.

👋 I think Cheese was just coming in when I stopped, or at least I was hearing the name being thrown about. Thanks you you personally for much of the content I've read on the forum here, it's been super useful in navigating Medical Cannabis. Hopefully I can give back somehow in the future.

I have no idea if the CB1 spreadsheet is stills accurate, it was being maintained by a patient but it does show on the spreadsheet so I would hope it's still available.

Its quite the favourite along a lot of patients as a day time option and I can't recall ever seeing it go OOS.

@node you're a CB patient aren't you? Is it available or am i waffling?

I'm fairly sure CB1 Medical like to restrict things for the first review with a fair amount of patients just as a pre-caution, so I think your thoughts are correct.

Thanks for the kinds words it's much appreciated.🙏

I've just checked on CB1 Medical (wife's a patient there)and the two High Silver Products are out of stock at the moment but I'm pretty sure they'll be back pretty quick like usual and just to note one of them is branded Find High Silver Smalls and they are not the highest quality but seems to be the right strain and many here love the effects myself included. Reading the Tea-leaves the cheese has to be close now. 🧀

Appreciate the update!

I 2nd the quality, it looks like someone dropped some of their brickweed 😂 but the terpenes are terpsing with it.

I know a personal grower who only grows blue cheese and lemon haze. The Hazes on medical aren't the best but I'm really hoping the cheeses can have some decent level of quality. Any idea on what we could be expecting?
