Being blackmailed by wife of my mate who I am also PA to, to stop taking my medication whilst at work...

Afternoon all, here's a tasty one for you all... I recently started to be a paid PA to an old next door neighbour of ours who is also a veteran. I have known him for 11 years and we were friends before I became his PA. He is a wheelchair user due to his skeletal and nervous system failing him, he is in considerable pain most of the time. He is living in a crap situation at home, he has told his wife he wants to leave as they are splitting up due to her lack of care for him and plenty of other guff! She is a proper piece of work. Anyhooo.. my mate is well aware of my prescription and has no issues whatsoever in me medicating whilst at his house, either working in my capacity as his PA or if I am at hisplace out of work hours. So his Battleaxe came home the other day and started having a pop at him over several things, one being that she had found some of my PVB residue on the sofa.. went into a whole thing about drugs and me driving him in his mobility scheme vehicle etc.. He told her that it was a prescription med and about the section 5a(3) dsipensation etc.. she wasn't having any of it, because she is a dyed in the wool bitch, and has told him that he has to stop me doing it or she is going to report me to the police. The words she used to him were " I don't want to take him off you but I will..." I picked him up on Friday to do our thing and he told me that he had to speak to me, and told me what she had said... Oh boy! I haven't been that angry in some time, it was the kind of angry that awakes the ancient berserker from my Viking ancestry, I was shaking with rage and I could feel the berserker putting on his best battle outfit and rising from the bowels of hel! My mate was that concerned about what was brewing that he insisted I medicated before we went into Tessies for our breakfast! Anyway, I got onto the phone to my mates social worker and my supervisor and told them of what was occurring, they all know that I am a MC patient and have no issues with it, because they are all woke as fuck now and don't dare push back on anyone's "rights" no matter how much that puts some peoples noses out. So I just work that angle to make them all come onside and ensure they know that I will push back with such force if anyone tries to infringe my rights as a MC patient. The best thing about the whole situation is that being as I work for my mate now as an employee of the local Council, I am being "bullied" and blackmailed by another council employee in my workplace, she works in the local library see. So now I have a formal complaint in the pipeline against her for blackmailing a co employee within the council, I'm sure there will be plenty of ethics and behaviour breaches there to hold against her, and then there is the police action for blackmail, as its not her first time either, she has also blackmailed my mate into telling the council that his daughter is doing the carers job she is paid for when she does feck all for her dad, or he has to pay more money to live in the house due to her losing her wage. So this woman has now dug herself such a hole, she doesn't realise its about to cave in on her either. I am very much looking forward to bringing this womans world down around her ears for her, she is a manipulative, vindictive, spiteful dried up husk of a Karen who has just entered a world of pain and I will enjoy the show as her house of cards crumbles. Those who know me know that I don't just burn bridges, I apply the scorched earth policy to the next level, not only is the bridge burnt, it is erased from history and anyone who tries to remember that bridge is reminded that it never existed and so the destruction of said bridge is complete and total.. Kindling for Christmas anyone?

No doubt! She will probably go into full victim status, blaming everyone else but herself when consequences start turning up. I expect it to get messy for sure, but im all good with that, i'm at the point in my life where I have given all my fucks out already, so just call it out when I see it and generally use FAFO as my go to state of being. Bring it on!

JGG, sorry that you are going through this - what a cow! I feel desperately sorry for your mate, who sounds like he is in a shitty situation all round really. I can't offer any solutions, but i do think people that have a crappy life feel they have to take it out/get their own back on anyone nearby and this woman (I won't call her a lady) has picked on someone that they think won't fight back. Chin up - don't let the b***h get you (or your mate) down too much - i firmly believe that what you give out comes back to you X3, so at some point Karma will collect.

Merry twixtmas folks.. A little update on the above situation. It has properly stirred the hornest nest in the council.. All sorts of people are raising their heads now the MC elephant has sat in the middle of the boardroom floor and whipped out his supply for medication to begin... I love it when those who don't know what they are talking about start to wag their tongues and tie themselves into knots. A few of the senior members of the relevant "teams" sat round the table discussing the situation, were clueless and were talking about taking me off the job as I was a safeguarding concern as I was a "drug" user, and why hadn't this come up in a background check etc.... They were put in their place by some who could see the issues and notified that even talking like that may breach my rights as per the Equalities act.. Would love to have been able to see their faces at that point. Anyway, they have all been told to wind their necks in and educate themselves and I have been asked if I would be interested in doing a presentation to the staff in the care department so that they can be brought up to speed with current up to date legislation and. And even better my mate has been offered a flat in the local supported living accommodation, which as it goes is one of if not the best kind I have seen in my time. He is stoked and the new year is bringing him the change he needed to happen. Feels good to have been involved in helping him change his situation, and to be instrumental in starting to hold authority to account in relation to MC. Here hoping all of you folks have an equally good end/start to your years. Merry Christmas to all, and a prosperous and healthy new year for everyone.

This is really good to hear. It really reminds of a movie a recently watched called I Swear. If its ok to add I would absolutely do this presentation to the staff and use all your skills to truly educate them so that they see others in and around your situation as human beings doing their best to treat themselves in difficult times. It would be so good to be able to make a difference to other people you haven't even met by being a voice for them to people that really need to hear it! Best of luck with this Mr Giant.
