Clinic
Still Deciding
Completely new to this world. Had a few Js throughout my life, but found I didnt like the effects and the smell of flower. Had hash in Morroco and loved it, still dont like the smell. I'm now in a position were im looking for alternative pain relief. I suffer with CRPS and im currently on high doses of opiod and pentin medication and I hate the idea of being addicted and the consequences to my body in the future.
ALL HELP WELCOME 🙃

Welcome to the community @HayleyR86 and sorry to hear about your struggle with CRPS and we'll provide what help and advice you need to help you explore Medical Cannabis and not using cannabis before can often help with costs as your tolerance will be low so that can be a plus side to things .

There are a few different ways to administer Medical Cannabis as in oils (sublingual) ,vape cartridges (vape pen),flower (dry herb vaporiser )and edibles but flower tends to offer the best value .

There are a couple of clinics I would suggest taking a look at as in Alternaleaf (£10/month) and CB1 Medical (£50 joining fee and £5.90/month )as these both average the cheapest cost per year and provide good service .
https://www.alternaleaf.co.uk/?utm_source=MedBud Membership scheme is £10/month

I would also say as a carer for a pain patient Cannabis definitely helps a lot with relieving pain but the need for some other pain medications still remains but the hope is to eventually lessen the pharmaceutical meds in the long run but without Cannabis her Pain meds would definitely be higher and also with Cannabis and the need for less opiates the side effects are a lot more moderate and it is a massive improvement in that way mentally too.

Other forum members I'm sure will have had a similar journey to yourself and will hopefully add advice of their experience here but you are right to explore this as the benefits could be immense to you and any more questions you have just ask away (y)

Here is an example of a fibromyalgia patients improvement when trying Medical Cannabis .

Hi Again, Hash isn't currently an option, poor @Moon is chomping at the bit for some nice hash too. It is possible to make your own but the returns aren't great so best to research which strains will wash or sift well so that you get a decet enough return. Some folks even do both, they start by sifting/screening the dry material, then run the same material through water extraction (camping washing machine and ice cold water/ice, filter liquid through "Bubble bags" not really that complex), freeze sift and dry the "bubble hash" then blend with the dry sift.

It is also possible to make other concentrates like rosin. Topicals and edibles are also an option, somewhat overpriced compared to flower, so again DIY is cheaper, if you search gummies there should be a link or two on how-tos.

I'm old and old school so space brownies/any space cake to be honest is fine by me, takes longer for the body to absorb so need to be patient and not an idiot like me who smokes J's waiting for the cake to kick in 😇

I've had pretty strong recreational gummies from america and they don't seem to work as well as a cake made with flower 🤷‍♂️
