Asthma and Lung UK NI policy officer, Andrew Wilson, told BBC News NI he welcomes the ban and would like the executive to set a target for making Northern Ireland smoke-free.
Speaking to BBC News NI, Mr Wilson said: "We would like the executive to push on from this with the momentum gained and perhaps look at creating smoke and vape-free places in Northern Ireland whether that's in our playgrounds, whether that's in schools or whether that's at our hospitals."

He added that research shows there are "very real links with vaping to inflammation of your airways

So i wanted to highlight this breaks the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act. I think this man also has no general idea the types of vapes that exist such as typical liquid vapes and dry flower vapes. Do you think his claim of vaping inflammation applies to the Storz and Bickel devices? He is giving out advice to the public without being aware. Does anyone want to email him with a letter or get ChatGPT to word it? It basically asks him the following with some info on dry herb safety.

1 His comment on cbpm and inflammation from an approved medical device will be including storz and bickel devices what evidence is he referencing?

2 Is he aware of a cbpm prescription?

3 Is he aware of different types of vaping?

4 Is he aware a hospital patient with a cbpm prescription has legal rights to consume their prescription on site? Is he aware of the laws in NI that protect this such as the 1995 Disability Act and the ressonable adjustments clause for service providers to provide access to disabled people? A CBPM patient is protected in law for both access to his legal prescription and also right of access to a hospital and many public spaces these laws would create a two tier society.
