Hi Everyone,

I was having a session on the Vida Blueberry Cookies a couple of days ago because the pain wasn't too bad, and I didn't want to waste a rosin cart. After a while, I noticed that the pain was intensifying, localising, and the normal effects from being medicated were being overwhelmed by the pain.

I remembered that this had happened a couple of times before with the Curaleaf Liquid Vape Distillate THC 200mg CBD 200mg. Checking the Vida prescription, I noticed that it also contained CBD, whereas most of the other Clearleaf® and Aurora® carts I've had success with don't.

Has anyone else had issues with CBD causing pain or blocking pain relief from MC?

Thanks.

Good afternoon and I've not had experience of this myself but it sort of makes sense to a point as sometimes CBD is used so people can take higher doses of THC where needed and where with some people it will enhance their relief it certainly doesn't seem to be having a positive effect on you and is possibly counteracting the good the THC is doing.

The vida has a small THC -CBD ratio and cant really have a blocking effect and the curaleaf 200mg disty v 750mg hash rosin regardless of CBD is too low for comparison. Distillate and botanical terpenes is nowhere near the comparison to hash rosin and even Aurora® resin and i find with disty its short lived and not any depth to experience and adding botanicals is a guessing game with minimal effects vs Cannabis derived terpenes.

CBD will stop the head high so will have an effect but CBD/2ag cb2 activation is pain relief for me anyway. Look into disty or try a 1/1 or 2/1 oil , i found full spectrum oil worked better than isolate oils at same ratio. I feel with disty what you might feel with CBD but not all terpenes are created equal as i wouldnt touch botanical terpenes as i think it can have a negative effect esp over time.

The only other thing the two carts had in common was that they're both distillate and not rosin.

I've given up on the Vida as a bad investment and decided to avoid distillate and CBD to see if that helps.

There seems to be alot more theraputic value around CBD for all ailments than distillate and botanical profiles so look into those also but high THC does dim pain but not all THC and terp profiles are the same and shouldnt be compared as 1 is superior to the other by having a full spectrum canna derived profile. Hope you get relief and id stick with Aurora® and Clearleaf®.

I'm still really new to all this, so I don't really know where to research terpene profiles to be honest.

Clearleaf® and Aurora® work best for me from what I've tried, and I have enough to last me quite a while, so I may have some time to look into it before I need to order again.

Theres botanical terpenes that are not as effective as cannabis derived terpenes and that is where hash rosin Clearleaf® will keep a natural profile similar to the flower/hash profile it came from . Distillate is not as effective and trying to create a flower or hash profile from botanical terpenes which is never recreated and not as effective. If buying distillate vapes look for CDT than botanical but Clearleaf® and Aurora® safer ,cleaner ,natural , more effective.
