Vapes Coil king coils

Anyone here using the coil king? I put in a new coil and had a dab, as I'm inhaling I got this horrible taste as if the coil had melted or something. I bought the Coils from Recommended vape supplies and the coil looks different to the original I took out, smaller spring coil. On the box it's supposed to be for the Coil King dab pen? My chest isn't the same today.

As you can see in the pic, the top coil is the original coil that come with the pen, the bottom coil is the replacement, it's not central and smaller than the original coil filament. I'm wondering if I've been sold cheap replacement crap

I've just checked the box of replacement Coils and there is 2 faulty Coils in the replacements, 2 Coils look good, 2 don't as they are not central in their housing and slightly smaller on one end where it looks tapered off on one side of the coil.

Hi, i dont think the shape or the central align will matter much, as long as the coil goes red on setting 3. From what i understand the dab drips off the mouthpeice and falls into the coil, then goes below the coil to the bottom of the ceramic bowl, then when we hit the button it vapes up for us. So as long as the coil works nothing else should be a problem.
Must admit have hardly used mine as the terp slurp has made it pointless at home, and i find it gives a oily taste sometimes in my throat (keeping it for when im out and about), whereas the terp slurp is clean cool heaven, I am using it a lot owing to using the 'other' product.
