MPs from the Greens, Lib Dems, Labour, plus independent Jeremy Corbyn, have signed a motion calling for the end of the Misuse of Drugs Act, calling it a failure that is not fit for purpose.
Yup, it's still a toxic topic for many parties and voters despite some solid policy documents. It's possibly a case of lets wear the barstewards down until they give in.
It argues for “an evidence-based approach that provides pathways for people with drug difficulties into treatment, rather than the criminal justice system”, and warns that “every year it remains in force, billions of pounds will be wasted, thousands of lives lost and countless people needlessly criminalised”.
If 'they' (the politicians) don't understand the above they clearly should not be MPs. The public need better education so they understand the above and not just...
The intro drug as they call it could be the exit drug , Medical high Myrcene stardawg replacing methadone, dawg x gws for more sedation. More opting for dawg as an exit from methadone. Its a start.
I dont want to go and dig up the stats for assisted dieing but there were 300 MP's backed that motion
The legislatures priorities are clear.
Fabian solutions. Enough politics for me for today.
