Flower Curaleaf® GGO T23 Green Gelato

This is coming my way for this month's script. Excited to try it out. Replacing GG4 as my evening strain with it. I enjoy the GG4, but I don't think it's necessarily what I'm looking for in terms of taste/flavour profile. Then again, I haven't tried that many to compare yet.

A glimpse of it here and it'll be interesting to know what this ones like as many fly under the radar so it'll be good to get an opinion on this .

Arrived today. Will comment more later on effect once I've had a few days with it, but I will say that the overwhelming taste and flavour profile is that of Turkish delight.

I find it a little insane that in everything I read about this strain and this medical product that nobody yet thought to make that comparison, because turkish delight is definitely what it is.

Curaleaf's formulary says it should be Earthy/citrus/mint/vanilla/pine. The only one of them that bears any real resemblance is citrus - it does have that sort of "fresh" smell you expect from a citrusy strain. But citrus is not the overwhelming note, the sweet sickly rosey smell of turkish delight is. Leafly describes it as nutty/grape/berry/fruity.

Personally I've never been a fan of turkish delight, and in general I find excessively sweet strains a bit of a novelty but not for everyday use, so it's probably not looking good for me and green gelato going forwards.

But just generally, how are we supposed to navigate this world of medical cannabis, particularly in terms of flavour/smell/terpene profiles when all the reporting is so subjective!

So after a while I did grow accustomed to the taste - I never enjoyed turkish delight, but if you do enjoy it, you'll like the taste of this a lot. If you don't like it, probably avoid, although it will grow on you.

However, it disappears so quickly in the vape - one or two puffs at a moderate temperature and it's totally brown and the taste is gone - it's insane, with the effects consequentially muted as you might expect.

Definitely one of the purest tasting profiles I've had yet, but not worth it as a medicine for me.
