I find personally I get better benefits from smoking/conbustion than I do through using a vaporiser. I would like to move to souly only using the vape eventually.

vape only (was a gradual process) got to the point that i find smoking weird... The best thing about vaping is you have the AVB which you can turn into oil etc. no wastage.

It may be something to do with the extraction of certain, or a higher amount of, cannabinoids due to the higher temp (combustion) that means smoking seems more effective for you
Maybe in your case it would be helpful to have a vape setup where the machine hits a high temp but you have cooling in play so make it pleasant

I stopped smoking 3 years ago and don't regret it one bit!
I was not sure if I'll be able to so it first, I really missed the whole deal first, and then only the ritual... now there's enough ritual with the constant maintenance of my vapes so I am good again I guess lol

Strangely, the main effect of smoking MC is that it invalidates your prescription. The prescriptions says, to be vaped (or in some other words).
So if you are carrying your script and original packing as required when out and about but are smoking it, and are arrested or questioned your prescription will be ignored. .. when an Officer who knows the rules gets hold of you or end up in court. Same apples to driving.

I avoid smoking, well because I don't want lung cancer down the line. Simple reasons.
@OP, if it doesn't work for you by vaping, I can tell you a way that will work really well. Get some flower, decarb it, then mix it with an oil take your pick on that and then mix it with flour and form a small round, almost like those liquorice torpedos you can get at Home Bargains.
Then lubricate it and your finger and shove it up your ass and deep, for good measure. Takes about an hour to kick and it kicks hard. I've seen people use the smallest amount and be bent so far out of shape, that it took a week for them to understand what happened.
Or you could just vape it at 200C.

...what is this smoking thing you're all having a good ol' chinwag and a natter about? I only ever, ever, ever uphold the law by the book and strictly vape and micro-medicate - 0.2g / 1 x per week at low temps 140c-145c for max couchlock fx and full-on nose run!
