Does anybody else collect 1g of every strain they enjoy to be enjoyed over the Xmas/NY period?

Ive been doing it a few months and I'm starting to build quite the Christmas collection.

No ,but I'm heading to yours at Christmas at this rate but seriously I might just do this and have a g off this and a g off that waiting for the holiday period especially as it'll get easier to afford as some decent cheaper stuff emerges

Honestly I couldn't recommend it enough.

Don't make the mistake I made! If you can grab some really small glass jars from Amazon, the ones for moisturisers and things.

The baggies completely killed off the smell of my weed so I've had to transfer it all to glass.

The best thing about it is satisfying the type of high you need from various strains. If I think the strain is shit it gets it's own desperate jar by itself lol.

I imagine tall jars like this are better than the shape I have

Seems easy enough to action and I've got plenty of jars in with the possibility of adding extracts in there also ,sounds like a nice little background project to keep the mind sweet over the months ahead and thinking about it we've only probably 4 or 5 prescriptions before the Christmas period so it's starting to sound like a plan now

Id love to see what you add to it!

We should do a meet up and create a MedBud mother jar with all of our jars .

I tends to order around 70g of my 90g, and a Q of that is put into this jar usually. So it can add up fast! It does smell heavenly to open though lol.

Oh funds allowing it will fill up here rapido with two patients in our house and it just looks a good way to operate in general really as we all know that at certain points where having a little of the right strain at hand can make a massive difference .

That must be bliss with a two patient household! Do you swap and try each others strains?

Like I say I really recommend it, I have about 35g in there now and it's knowing I've not got to panic about deliveries or the right strains like you say.

I might document a little list of what I have in there, you never know it could help with future strain recs, etc.

It's a nightmare with cost which is why I'm so pro grow your own and you definitely get to see what a strain is about if your partner has it but trying it out would be breaking the rules but saying that if we in general were able to view and smell our meds before buying which in theory I can with strains my wife has then this a massive advantage in itself .

Ah yeah I didn't think about the costs! I can imagine it gets expensive some months!

What's your thought on GYO happening? I feel like we'd get a rec market before GYO

Costs are a juggling act at the mo but as prices come down it's gradually getting easier to order a near suitable amount .

GYO I was really hopeful for earlier in the year as we are one of the only countries with MC and no grow your own for patients running alongside it so my hope is in well that cant continue for too long but all said and done forces are acting against it in the UK.

A lot of people compare the cost of medical cannabis to black market and say it's reasonably similar etc so they are used to paying a similar amount where as some come from a GYO background where it was done through necessity so transferring to medical for legality has incurred massive additional costs on a monthly basis for a product that is often inferior

It's not a route I can consider yet because of work visas when I travel but given the state of the police I can't imagine they throw the book at you. Or even notice to begin with really.

I would guess its going to vary per force per case. This county - as I understand it - if your an individual and your not attracting attention - they hear about it they don't care, unless you become a POI in other enquiries - then they (EDIT) may use that as an excuse. I take it homebrews still legal lol

So not risk free but play the game and you should be okay.

I'm not advocating anyone do it but if I could I would do it. Even just small autos in a little shed would be ideal

No expert at all. Growers on here who prob know lot more. If everybodys costs keep increasing then how would they realistically stop it?
I find it a moral issue too - because I don't want to encourage peeps esp our younger members to get into debt for MC.
