Driving a company Car/ Van whilst being a MC user

Afternoon all

I drive a company van/car for my job.

Anyone else using a company car/van for work had any issues?
My company has a zero drug use policy and I got called into HR's office with my manager about smelling of cannabis ( i forgot to change my jumper from the night before), I don't like lying so explained my situation and why I use it, thought I was getting sacked on the spot but to my surprise HR and the company were willing to help and stand by me if I got a medical prescription, but I had the use of my van taken away from me until I had a prescription, completed a occupational health assessment/interview and HR had looked into the legality of it all.

Did the occupational health interview which was a bit of a joke.

Got my script

HR still done nothing this was back at the beginning of November.

Any documentation/ laws I can have read up on.

HR is a joke, but they have to follow the law, and you can't be discriminated against.
