Hi all, thanks for all the previous posts/info. so much knowledge/so many Q's answered -it's greatly appreciated. + Sorry if I've missed any answers to my (overcomplex) Q's below.

I joined CB1 Medical recently (new to the MC world, but a ~10 year BM user). I take MC for pain relief from a twigged back + just wish I had started this MC route earlier

I'm about to put through a digital prescription...perhaps. Not sure if anyone can help, as it may need to be an external pharmacy order.. as even with fees' it should work out (sig.) cheaper. Do I request this to CB1 Medical? I think I read recently (perhaps @MigraineMan ) re: the difficulties in trying to do this!? -and hurdles (seemingly) being put in place to prevent/slow such requests -is this still the case? -are they likely to honour these requests? -each and every week, assuming the product is not stocked, or a cost equivalent is not avail.? -Sorry for all the Q's. I understand the Pharmacies need to make profit on sales, and would prefer to keep it in-house, but it feels like a captive/forced market -with only expensive products being available (at present + more so in the recent weeks).

Assuming I ordered the below, would I just send the ext. pharmacy order to CB1 -with IPS to be utilised? Example:

External Pharmacy;
+ 30g of 4C Labs #Jet Fuel Galato (23%) @ £4.50 x 30g = £135.00
+ 30g 4C Labs #Tropicana Gold (26%) @ £5.00 x 30g = £150.00.
Total : £285.00 (+ ext. pharmacy fee i.e. IPS). +deliv.


If I order from CB1, at the same THC* content, with current stock (used for comparison, cheapest avail @ present), it would look like;
+ 30g of SUMO Craft Canada #Craft No4. (23%) @ £5.50 x 30 = £155.00
+ 30g 4C Labs #GMO Tropical Reign (26%) @ 7.50 x 30 = £225.00.
Total : £380.00 (+deliv.).

* I know THC content isn't the be-all, but personally just looking at (max.) pain relief, with higher probability from a higher % flowe (perhaps).

I've been copy/pasting the CB1 'preliminary order list' for a while (in to excel, as easier to budget/pick, for me), however, this recent copy/paste seems to be severely limited vs what is actually available (to order on app.). I'm sure products/flower flux. all the time, making availability an issue. For example; They recently had listed 4C Labs; Goldenberry (27% THC) for £60.00 -which is think is reasonable. But has now been removed. It is still listed as avail. on the market list here on MedBud (very high), does it mean stock could vary? -or just likely removed by CB1? -at their discretion.

This seems to be the case for most of the chart outliers/value for £ flowers (see below charts). First shows the preliminary list (to new clients), second, what is actually avail. to order (the dips signify more value for £, essentially. Closer to left margin = more THC content). I don't have much data gathered, but the trendline (red) over the past 4/5 weeks has gradually gone/going horizonal.

So today my script apparently has been sent to Specials Pharma, yet I still have a request to pay for the entire script on CB1 Medical, I am going to ignore it and wait until I hear from specials. If you want to request something that is not on CB1 formulary then you face a wait of up to two months while they approve it, this is in their T&C's

If you want to save a few quid just look for things on your formulary that are cheaper elsewhere and order those. You need to email them with details of the Pharmacy you want to use and the postal service you would like them to use to deliver the script to that pharmacy. Some pharmacies will refund the cost of having the script posted.

Welcome @AJ_ and a lot of these new cheaper but higher THC strains namely the 4C Labs stuff I'd expect to appear on the CB1 Medical formulary more often than not and whilst they are new products they may be in then out of stock but in the long run I'd hope this is a regular thing and hopefully more of the lower priced higher THC strains appear too!

Just going back to your first graph showing the value dips and its pretty telling actually as there is no way you can reasonably expect to have the option of a value strain on any sort of a regular basis but there is a move to lower priced quality or higher THC products and it does look like we may see a bit of consistency with availability of products at this end of the prices and even a bit of competition so from what I'm currently seeing its a lot more promising than before and totally understand the want to keep a prescription inhouse where possible and each day that passes it looks more like this could be a reality in my opinion.
