Having a fun one on Monday. Nurses asked me to stop medicating until then, I looked it up and cannabis can indeed interfere with the Midazolam / Fentanyl effects they give to you to sedate and relax. Interestingly MC can both dampen or prolong the effects of these stuff. Today I could not stop simply due to circumstances, from tomorrow I am lowering my dosage and won't be taking any on Monday until after the procedure, but wondering if anyone has any experiences.

I have had this procedure done a few times and I had the gas and air sedation.
I still consumed before I left to go to the hospital as I was proper nervous.
I just got changed and went . I did not tell them about my medical cannabis as I did not want them to know

You will be alright mate just don't have any a few hours before the procedure

Thanks! I might actually get the gas and air, not sure what they do here, and that would be fine. I read MC only properly messes with the Midazolam / Fentanyl combo and I might need a much higher dose of those, and I don't really want to get a lot of Fentanyl

ive had it done two times over the last couple of months. told them both times pre opp and it was not a problem. take as usual is what i was told.
good luck with what your having done . (y)

I've had this done.

I had the gas and air thing and some cream that did fuck all. They just said it might make the effects less intense but it's not a sedation anyway so it shouldn't really be a problem.
