Probably a bit of a beginner question but…
If when you open a bud it is dry inside and doesn’t stick to your finger is that indicator of it having low terpenes? & low quality?

Iast month I got the AAAA apricot cream cheese and i really like it and it’s sticky inside and out.
Today I went back to some lot420 orange cake that I had the month before the ACC and it’s dry inside and outside and grinds a bit powdery in the flower mill. It’s expiry date is December 2025

It does sound like storage has let the orange cake degrade and even with glass jars sometimes I'll put an extra layer like a food bag over the jar when sealing it to make sure it's airtight when this has happened to me in the past.

Not a bad idea that with the food bag to seal.

Thanks everyone, I do keep the flower in the original containers/bags but they are kept cool & dark, I put a boveda in with orange cake when I got it.
Sounds like I will have to keep less flower in stock and get some glass jars.
I do really like the ACC, I don’t think I’ll have a problem with that drying out… running out maybe !!

The ACC has become a ritual for me pretty much soon after waking which in a way a I don't like as it's my premium strain for day over with before I know it :rolleyes:but the effect on my day justifies it I suppose.
I do from time to time leave it in its original container but in hindsight it is always better in glass even if for just a week as with the ACC it really settled once in a jar as many others do .
