Hello,

First time medical user, have dabbled over the years but wouldn't say I'm a regular user before. Just for fun now and then :) Have vaped it before as I stopped smoking many many years ago.

However, I have seen enough flower to know what I was sent is well, disgraceful for want of a better word. Even looked up the strain online just to make sure my old knowledge is still correct.

Very little smell, stale or something not the usual flower type smell. Small dry hard buds, pull apart so dry, no stickiness, no crystal on surface, no kief no matter how many of the buds I tried. Been through 3 of my 10g and if this had been street purchase would have been handed straight back.

According to many online sources

Ghost Train Haze grows dense buds blanketed in white, crystal-capped trichomes. With a sour citrus and floral aroma

None of that applies here, so disappointed.

Wish I could figure out how to attach pictures see what you all think, took some as I opened the package. Doesn't seem to link my google photos links.

I am using a Starry 4 with the dose capsules. Brand new vape, new capsules, new grinder, new everything needed.

Virtually no visible vape, no taste except vape taste, at any temp, any grind, packing it, not packing it, reviewed so many online sources just to confirm my thoughts, the flower I strongly suspect is the issue.

Have submitted a complaint to them, they passed it to the pharmacy, unsure if it will matter. won't even be able to show them until 4th January.

The Somaí 10 10 did not fair any better, 0.1ml doses up to a maximum of 0.5ml 3 times daily as required. Nada, Zip. Apart from sleeping better (which I explained was not an issue to the doc) that's all it does, another waste of cash. No relaxation, no calmness of my mind which is ultimately what I wanted as explained to the doc (I have phsycological needs not physical), nothing. Have asked not to get oil again. Will know in my follow up what they decide.

Not sure if I'm allowed to mention which clinic so won't until I know for sure its ok.

Do phramacy take back bad product? No idea if I should hang onto it or not. This was a lot of money I can't just forget.

Anyway, hoping the next batch is not so disappointing.

Welcome to the forum @Lexandro and this is not a good start to your Medical Cannabis journey and rest assured there are decent quality products out there that will service your needs and knowledge from other patients tends to stand you in good stead when choosing your meds as we tend to discuss between us how our meds are thus giving a heads up to others and this has worked well for a lot us in here .

The problem often when joining a clinic is they tend to push products like these ones you have on patients and with the oil I wouldn't give up all hope as I have no physical conditions that require Medical Cannabis but still do benefit from the right strain as oil (y)

You can call out your clinic as that is the idea partly of the forum and we speak freely about our clinics whether good or bad i n the hope of changing things.

As for the pharmacy taking back the product this can change from pharmacy to pharmacy but recently a few clinics have bucked up there ideas in this department as in Montu, Medicann and CB1 Medical if this helps any and I would hold onto it and await further instruction from them to leave the ball in their court .

Hello to you. Quality of flower is a perpetual problem, though overall the situation has improved, believe it or not… But unless the bud is mouldy it won't usually qualify for a refund.

For desired calmness I suggest adding some CBD to your regimen. Cheapest way is sublingual oil drops. I take 30mg x 4 daily.

CBD also helps if you have THC tolerance.
 
Hello again, thanks for the replies.

Just had a follow up call from my doc at CB1 Medical and he apologised but as expected he has no control or say on quality and confirmed once its opened can't return.

Bit of a weird one they can send bad stuff and we just have to live with it. Not what I expected from medical products (worked as engineer in medical production for years and very aware of all the regulations)

CB1 pharmacy still has not replied to my complaint, very unprofessional.

He has now issued a different flower and stronger oil so heres hoping:)
