Hello folks,
I recently signed up with Mamedica looking for alternative treatments for PTSD symptoms and pain.

Paid for my 1st prescription this morning. I’m getting some 18% THC Master Kush flower and some T20 oil, hoping it will at least help me sleep. Fingers crossed it will arrive by the end of next week.

I know next to nothing about cannabis but I’m hopeful about how it might improve my quality of life. I must admit I’m a bit nervous about taking the medicine. I’ve smoked a bit of street weed in the past and it hasn’t always been an enjoyable experience - sometimes it was cool but there were a few times that it sent me into the shadow realm. But I've read some very encouraging stories from folks in the United States making great progress with cannabis. My consultation with the Doctor also gave me a lot of confidence - he recommended this website :)

I’m trying to figure out which Dry Herb Vaporiser to go for but the options are bending my mind inwards. Storz & Bickel look like they might be the way forward. Mighty Medic or similar. Pricey but I want to avoid buying cheap and buying twice.

Anyway, I look forward to learning some stuff and chatting. What a time to be alive!

Welcome @raymondo , this will be good place for you to gather knowledge/get advice as you embark on your Medical Cannabis journey , also lots of people have benefited from treating the symptoms you mention and fingers crossed its the same for you. you'll find people like yourself ,relatively knew to cannabis and as you mention sometimes not having a great experience with street weed, this oftens happens as each different bag is sometimes a step into the unknown. With Medical at least you can see what the properties/probable effects of a strain are whilst getting guidance from a medical trained person at the same time.
I have the Mighty+ and am quite satisfied with it, but yes deffo measure twice cut once .Others on here use various devices to great effect. (y)
Any questions don't hesitate to ask . (y)

Bit cheeky but if you phone the pharmacy at 09:00 Monday morning, and ask for a pre 9am next day delivery because you’ve run of of meds, 😉 mamedica are really good

I hope they did not give you the adven emt2 cairo oil the best one for you is the equal cbd and thc as it will counteract the bad and cbd is good for sleep and ptsd. The grow t20 c20 herijuana oil is a good one for this.

Buy some cbd oil as well to take with the master kush. Holistic hemp scotland do a good 30% raw cbd oil. Take 3-6 drops before bed with the Master Kush.

Thanks for the advice @Rimmerworld The clinician gave me similar advice. Attached is the oil they prescribed, I'm not sure if it the one you recommended but I'll certainly be getting some CBD oil over the counter.

Seems you oil is one of these two1728893306344.png, whilst I've had the top one ,I'm not new to cannabis after 30+ years of usage, and quickly became tolerant of it ,where as it could be perfect as an entry in Medical Cannabis , also assisted by the Master Kush which should help, hope you've got some great sleeps ahead .
https://medbud.wiki/oils/ , I've also put a link to the oils so as you start to understand more you'll get a grasp of the differences of the choices, going forward (y)
