Hi. I'm a newbie to the site and also to medical cannabis, after 20 years of standard treatments for chronic migraine and other pain. I'm no stranger to the benefits of THC but am now using this opportunity to transition from smoke to vaping. I'm looking forward to learning more on the forum, as the rest of the site has been very helpful already. Cheers.

Thanks @Rimmerworld. I decided to go all in with an S&B Venty but had to send the first one back today because it produced an unpleasant acrid burnt plastic smell/taste. A replacement is coming tomorrow so hopefully that'll be better.

Some vapes need a burn off my Mighty smelled of a hot iron. Dont use it right away turn it on a few times. Generally they have a good taste but me personally i found mine now has a plastic taste after a few years of use it doesnt go away. I dont use mine as my go to i use it as my theres no alternative but cold turkey outdoor vape.

If the second one bothers you, Then you will need to look at an all glass vape like a Verdamper or Herborizer etc.

Welcome and yes ,its THE battle for some but i find with some strains it easier than others to vape for most of the day, personally nicorette spray helps stave away nicotene cravings, but its hard.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. My second Venty arrived today and it is so much better. It has a new heating element type aroma but nothing like the acrid burnning from the first one.

I'm firing up the Arizer xq2 more and more in the afternoons with the whip but can always put a balloon on it to finish the bowl off, also use a Mighty +.

Phew! Smells like a hot iron sort of right? It needs coated now in Terpenes glad you got it fixed i think you will like it you can get a silicone whip and mate to a bong if you want as well. I reccomend to use the capsules too, It keeps the heater clean. You can reuse a capsule it wil not smell or go yellow until the 3-4th use.

You can push the usage of them capsules but it stinks and effects the taste if they get oily. They collect oil after five or so uses and gunk up.

I find with the capsules, i find it that little bit restrictive sometimes ,maybe im packing them out too much ,but airflow better for me without caps.

Yea its true a trade off vs a oily gunked up bowl. My OG Mighty had the non cermaoc bowl and it really did stain mine good.
