Hi im after some help and advice my wife is with CB1 Medical she as stopped vaping flower because she doesnt like psychoactive effects so as changed to a 50/50 THC CBD mix of oil , at the moment she as a Indica that she can take before bed , what she would like is a Sativa 50/50 mix for the day she carnt use the Indica as it makes her fatigue worse . she as MS ,we thought we had found one which looked ideal but the CB1 pharmacy could not supply it they sent one they said was a Sativa which on arrival was actually another Indica .
a problem with the formulary on the app is the oils dont say if they are Indica or Sativa and CB1 carnt supply what we need most oils are Indica and arent many that are a Sativa 50/50 THC CBD mix
this is the one we would like ,
will we have to change clinic and if so is it a lot hassle
thanks for reading my post any help or advice will most appreciated .

Welcome back @DOBBIN and sorry to hear your wife is struggling with the Indica effects and the oil you mention is widely available at other pharmacies as shown below and may be its worth asking CB1 Medical directly if they can order this for you as this sometimes happens then they keep the product on their formulary once they have prescribed it and really I don't think will be a problem for them but may take a little time but I would ring and be specific about which oil you want as they should be able to send your prescription to one of the pharmacies below .
Changing clinics can be pretty smooth but if it can be avoided it removes the stress that could be involved and I see no reason they wouldn't get this for you (y)
Others here have done exactly the same regards oils from other pharmacies through CB1 with no problems when requested by phone.

just got of the phone CB1 Medical have contacted Curaleaf about this specific oil but they say it could take 2 weeks for a response ,
how easy is it to change clinics to one that will have this oil .
Some it could take days some a week or so but then you've still got a few days whilst the prescription is processed and delivered to take into account and I can feel your urgency here as my wife also has a chronic disease and I know it not nice when meds are not working as needed .
Here's a Sativa Hybrid that comes in 10ml bottles and I know they have already prescribed this to another member and could this possibly be used as you wait for the reply from CB1 Medical and I'd be hopeful they would allow you to order this straight away.

thanks again think we will wait as she wants a 50/50 THC CBD oil
Apologies as I just realised you needed a balanced strain and that is only available at T20 and T50.
Also the two weeks they have mentioned hopefully that is a worse case scenario and it gets resolved a bit quicker . (y)

UPDATE wife as just recieved a message from CB1 Medical that they have just updated their policy regarding off-formulary prescriptions .
they will now only prescribe medication from the approved formulary .
and sent a link to the t&cs
not a happy bunny

Querying this we've been assured you can still order off-formulary at CB1 Medical as per their terms and conditions:

We have questioned their 'two month' statement as many companies will respond within 24 hours with all necessary/requested information, allowing a decision to made within a couple of days in most instances.

The 50/50 is good balance oil, its not overly heavy as i can use it all day with flower, we are all different though, sometimes a few tweaks here and there and bingo! I hope the other half gets some relief and the right balance 👍
