Flower High THC numbers/content

Its all down to the potentiating effects of terpenes on THC , Crazy to think that the industry have such a hard on for THC that everything is overlooked even the minor cannabinoids that do contribute to the effect and they feel that they dont need to list or test.

"I'm not looking for the highest THC, I'm looking for the best effect" Exactly, the best effects are being bred out, disregarded due to a lack of understanding in the great THC race. This is why i look for near landrace genetics, for the proper 'hit' that i used to get. A lot of this bud is lacking in the cabanoidal effects i feel.

Just been watching the young generation on YouTube with their big pure spliffs. It's stupid how they don't hold it in. One didn't even inhale just a mouthful for a million second. How bizarre and what a waste of hit and money. Rant over.

I know peeps dont like s1`s for lets just say traditional reasons but what you can pull out the genes is unreal.
You could say same as f2`s but wading through males is not the same.
A very good breeding tool that looks into genpool to bring out some outliers.
Aint no bottlenecking going on there.

Yep S1's can reveal a lot and for clone only strains are the only way to move forward really without outcrossing then backcrossing to get back to as close to the original as possible, the bottlenecking issues arise when that's all people are doing, selfing and creating fem Hybrids from the same "elite" clones. As long as there are people going down all the paths the gene pool should be pretty safe.

With tissue culturing allowing previously non viable seeds to be effectively grown out we should also have access to stuff that was thought of as lost too :)

Int science brilliant!

What would you say the m3 is? crossed to the f7 f7! wow.
I`m thinking 3 males used or a 3rd gen male selection.
If 3 males used then that could be the contibutor to that profile rather than just straight s1 outlier.

It's possibly something as simple as Female 7 and Male 3 from the fourth gen/filial run that ended up making the F5's. I'll ask on the forum where it was originally posted :)

I've asked the question, I should probably have also confirmed if S1 at the time was used to represent a truly selfed plant and not just a pollen chuck on a group from a reversed female. I think it should be as don't think R1 was a thing in 2014.
