Hello, I'm male, based in the South East (of England), and desperately hanging onto my 30's
I've used cannabis on and off in my adult life and have always seen it as a medicine. As I got older, though, my friendship circles shrank as well as my contacts, and so for the last several years I've been visiting the Netherlands 2-4 times a year as a holiday destination. I love Dutch history, architecture and partial to the odd football game, but the fact that cannabis is legal and relatively socially accepted there, it's been my go-to destination as I can have a week of enjoying my favourite medicine before returning home to sobriety.
I caught up with an old friend this year who told me he's a medical cannabis patient and recommended me a clinic to join, so I'm a new patient at Cantourage. I got my first prescription about 3 weeks ago.
Not sure if I should review the two products here or make a separate post, so I'll keep it short:
1. BC Green UC T22 - 10g - £75 - Awful, terrible, non-existent, a charlatan, useless. Vaped on low, mid, and high temps and zero effect every time. Still contemplating asking for a refund if that is even possible.
2. Curaleaf 420 Jack Herer Cart - £30 - Good vape cart, helps lift a dull mood, but not that helpful as a sleep aid. Nearly finished with the cart already because the bud has been a dud. 0.5ml is not enough, needs to be 1ml or more.
I've found some very helpful posts on the forum today, especially the one about recommendations for insomnia - unfortunately, all the bud/products that have been recommended so far are not available on the Cantourage portal, so if anyone else is with this clinic and can recommend me some products that work, I would be very grateful.
Next week, I have my follow-up consultation - I'm assuming this is to see how I have got on with my first prescription and to discuss what my next prescription is.
Do these consultations happen every month in order to get a prescription? I was hoping to have a bit more autonomy on what products I can purchase, but I'm starting to wonder if that's not possible as a medical cannabis patient, or does this depend on the clinic you are with?
Thanks for reading!
