Hello

Has anyone tried this? It had a price drop to £115/30ml. Mamedica® are listed as a dispenser but for quite a while have not restocked it. I wonder has the license agreement expired between Mamedica and Lumir®. I really want a non fatigue pain solution for the daytime flower doesnt really do it for me pain wise but oil works pretty well.

Im unsure how to get my hands on this as well, Who would i need to ask Mamedica to send the script to? Im willing to split my script as the Mamedica Sativa oil selection is basically zero. Despite emails from me requesting it half a year ago they still havent got in any Sativa oils since then its basically all CBD/Hybrid/Indica from Grow and Adven and Somaí only.

I haven't tried it but there has been some confusion on the price in the past couple of days, Montu are listing at £150 - hopefully should find out what's happened shortly.

The price drop we're listing is down to £80, which is what we were informed - I changed to £115 after seeing Specials Pharma and Lyphe both list at that price.

Mamedica won't allow you to get it from another pharmacy if it's not on their repeat list I believe. If you do enquire, please feedback here (y)

But you can send your script to any pharmacy right? Thats the guidelines or is oil excluded? Theres times mamedica have been naughty and told me i cant have something and when i quoted the guidelines i was asked do i understand and agree to send my script to another pharmcy. Its super annoying Mamedica exclude this oil the only Sativa and Hindu Kush!

Yes, but to my understanding regardless of which you choose, Mamedica® have a clinic policy not to approve anything that's not on their own formulary/repeat list. Mamedica also uniquely charge a £10 fee for using a third-party pharmacy.

Oh i missed that change i think i seen a tweet but mentally it went in one ear and out the other. Damm i have to bring this to the Dr attenntion on my next appointment and let them know they need to strike agreements faster. This oil has always been sus at one point mamedica had it but would not dispense it to me citing expiry dates.

I've had it confirmed that £80 is the correct price, but may not be being correctly reflected on the distributor's information. The distributor should hopefully update all clinics/pharmacies on the correct pricing over the coming days.

Sigh. Still no sign of this. I’ve tried others before and after but this was the only one that really and significantly helped me and with no downsides.

Is there some reason Sativa only oils aren’t more common?

I think most people who want oil are dealing with severe pain and or motor issues, where Indica tends to come into play more?

It wouldn't surprise me if there's possibly also some vile commercial reason that I'm not aware of

I’m like Rimmerworld partly I think in that the Indicas slow me down during the day too much, and also give me too much forgetfulness. On this Lumir® I had none of those issues of and also some of my targeted ADHD behaviours almost magically disappeared. I only needed a very small amount two or three times a day.

The Indicas also make me a bit difficult to be with at home… don’t really want to talk to anyone about anything. With the pure Sativa there was none of that.

Know exactly where you are coming from there

I deal with intermittent pain, as well as ADHD and other things, and even if pain is flaring in the morning I will still prefer to battle through as much of the day as I can on a Sativa which will cover the other bases

I'm speaking to my doctor today and I'm going to ask about vape carts, I know the below isnt pure Sativa but might be of interest to you?

I have a carefully graded approach to each day, going from Sativa, through Hybrid, up to hard hitting incida for beddy-byes

Can I ask which Sativa type oils you use?

The Indicas are great for my sleep I’ve noticed but I think because I’m still on sleeping tablets they combine to make me too forgetful. And as you know short term forgetfulness is already often a big issue with ADHD.

On the Lumir® I just stopped without noticing almost all the time wasting activities in the day, primarily pointless scrolling through YouTube shorts. Just didn’t feel like it, and if I did I’d get bored of it so fast and go and do something more productive. Felt so good after years of that crap. I got some various relief from stimulant drugs, and I appreciated being able to have them, but none of them stopped that time wasting behaviour in particular. The stimulants took the some stress out of my work when I was working, but when I wasn’t I was still wasting the days, and weeks.

Also gave up smoking 20 odd years ago and haven’t got the lungs for smoking or vaping these days.

Oh sorry I'm not using oils, I use flower and vape it

I'm looking into the vape carts as a convenient 'as needed' solution, especially for being out of the house as it's simpler / more convenient / less noticable (even though it's legal I'm terrified of getting harassed about it)

If you have a look on this page, scrolling down you can see which are Sativa / Sativa Hybrid, I can't recommend any but hopefully it helps

Looks like there's quite a few available currently there too actually

There’s a good few Sativa Hybrids but no Sativa only right now. I’ve tried 3 Hybrids sandwiched around the Lumir® but it’s very hit and miss and so far no luck. I’ve basically given up on the oils for a while now and been checking in here now and then to see if the Lumir® or a pure Sativa becomes available again. 🤷‍♂️

Just looking through the oils and Sativas are lacking in choice unfortunately but maybe you can get away with a Sativa Hybrid whilst your preferred oil is out of stock and I also recognise the Indica traits you mention in your earlier post and is why I use Sativa Hybrid strains in the day quite a lot and one that I would say may work is Super Lemon Haze as this is more Sativa in effect as a strain
