I bought 10g of jokers about 3 months ago with mould in the bag. I reported it straight away and was told to take photographs for the investigation and then after months of waiting I was told I can't have a refund without anybody even asking to see the flower.

This does not seem right to me and I have seen other people with the same mould on there jokers as well.

I could not ever give a company like this a penny of my money again

Did your pharmacy actually contact 4C Labs directly, or did they just try and close it from their side without actually taking back the medication for investigation? We have unfortunately seen this happen a few times before. They should be collecting it from you, and forwarding onto Xeal to test/investigate.

Do you still have the bag now?

Mamedica® would not take the bag back and said it was up to 4C Labs to ask for it back. I had it for 3 months at my house

I said to them how can you do an investigation without the evidence but they did and then turned me down.

I went to a friend's for the weekend last week after being turned down and threw it away as I have an 18 year old daughter who had friends coming over for the weekend.

No, it's up to them as the pharmacy to handle returns of defective medication, and further return it to the manufacturer for testing wherever there could be a public safety concern. As 4C Labs have said with prior issues, unless they actually receive something back they cannot test it for issues/defects - I remember hearing of their prior frustration back with the Qwest insect contamination claims, when no-one would initially send it back to them for testing.

Mamedica® should also be helping you fill out an MHRA Yellow Card report on defective medication. The owner of Specials Pharma has literally spent 30 minutes on the phone with me previously filling one out, on his insistence because of regulatory requirements.

I feel the fault here lies with Mamedica, and not 4C Labs. If I were you, I'd be trying to do a card chargeback, but I think that has a 120 day limit.

This is definitely something that should be reported to GPhC: https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/concerns-form

Understand why you disposed of it, though unfortunately that does make it near impossible to action now - without bank support.

It frustrates me even hearing you were left out of pocket, just hope if something like this happens again we can all back you and make sure you find a proper solution.

I think it would be good if we could have a special reporting section for mould ,seeds and other problems where the posts would be more visible so that we can try and put an end to it

Mamedica® think they write the rules and are bullys. They have not changed since i complained to management even after a complaint. CQC and others are also useless. What annoys me is
  1. this is against the law
  2. CQC are paid money and dont do the job
  3. ministers are paid to regulate and dont do job

Agree completely, our coverage of regulatory issues at Mamedica® is likely what's seemingly spurred all the alleged negative/derogatory remarks by their staff against MedBud on the phone to patients.

Mamedica very much need to fix their issues with rampant prescription direction, clinicians trying to bias prescribing to Mamedica's own commercial formulary, and the alleged on-going return issues as above.

I am just going to let it go now but I know now that if I have mouldy medication again they have to take it back because of public safety
I suggest you make a MHRA Yellow Card report as suggested earlier as that will at least put MHRA on notice to deal with it. The one and only notice I've ever sent was unrelated to MC but there are... in theory, at least, according to the response to the manufacturer I was CCd into from them... tests being undertaken on that batch of medication requiring a report back.

I have left it for now but if it ever happens again it is down to the pharmacy to take the medication back in regards to public safety and not the company that supplies it .

I was told I had to wait for an investigation to be completed before I could send anything back. Which is wrong.

Has anybody on here ever filled out a yellow card or reported anything to the MHRA about MC and had a response
