defendants’s test showed a level of 9.1; the legal limit is 2 microgrammes per litre of blood.
The incident happened on September 4 last year on the A83 near Clachan.
defendants’s defence agent said the car had been stopped for another reason, and that his client had a prescription from Harley Street.
Sheriff DW Ferguson banned defendant from driving for 12 months and fined him £375."
