Industry New strains delivery question

It was my 2nd month delivery today, Green Karat modified gas and Curaleaf royal moby.
The royal moby (irradiated)looks and smells great. (Am I ok to add some pictures to this post ?)
The modified gas (non irradiated) looks good but has an odd smell, a mix of soil & an old house that’s been empty for a long time.

My question is am I best to wait a day or two before trying the modified gas?
I’ve let it air a bit and added a boveda.

The delahaze I had last month definitely smells better now than when I got it and i was wondering if its common especially if the flower had been in its sealed container for a little while.

Hiya mate, just to say add your pics away. I'd wait + like you said get the modified gas in with some humidity, Green Karat should know better by now to be honest.At least the last one I had from them came in a Terpslock/foil.

That's how you want the gas to smell, like something decomposing under the floorboards

Definitely think a few smell strange from time to time when you open the pot but hopefully it passes as its has been exposed to a bit of air now it's been opened.

Well they look really well and thanks for sharing the pics with us as it helps others sometimes decide on a strain if they have seen the buds so pics are always welcome
In answer to should you leave the Modified Gas a while ,I would of thought it'd be fine now but I always use my nose as a guide

Thank you, it certainly smells a bit better than it did yesterday
