Hello all,
Getting a new oil to try and i have been told that i need to eat something fatty with it, to help it work properly. Any suggestions, as i will probably be taking it early morning and then in the evening. Does it have to be a full meal, or would a milkshake or something be enough? Ideas if possible. Thanks in advance x

Depends on your metabolism. I am yet to experiment myself properly, but one of my oil using buddies needs a full meal or at least a big yoghurt, while the other one swears on a single, thick slice of cheese for best effect.

Choc should be proper tho, something like a proper 70% dark, otherwise it's not particularly fatty. The Cadbury/Nestle-like mainstream stuff is just brown sugar foam, terrible for you anyway, don't use those.

I like the idea of having to scoff expensive chocolate! Seriously though, i have spoken to a few people about this and the general consensus is that some people do and some don't (not all that helpfull!). Quite a few have said that a small glass of full fat milk is fine, so i might try that at first, although i like the chocolate idea!

I normally bake my flowers into choc, that's my main method for medicating. I definitely felt a difference between real, fatty, dark choc (which I don't even like normally) and the crap one, mostly the onset time changed without proper fats, but also the intensity. Could be very different for oils of course, but fat is fat!
