Australia Pressure grows on Releaf Group as court cases mount and doctors down tools over unpaid wages

Pressure is mounting on Releaf Group from multiple angles as franchisees attempt to claw back money paid to the company for bricks and mortar clinics and pharmacies that failed to open.

Legal action is underway involving a number of franchisees who claim Releaf failed to honour agreements and misled them or acted in a deceptive way.

Releaf said it “strongly refutes” any allegations of wrongdoing.

In addition to the legal proceedings, Cannabiz has discovered that some Releaf Group doctors have refused to work in recent weeks amid allegations that wages have not been paid.
