We've been alerted numerous times over the past couple of weeks about a 'Professor Herb' clinic/medical service being heavily advertised on social media. We've posted some thoughts below on social media from 'Ana Kelly':We have received no information so far evidencing that the service would be operating within the legal/regulatory framework for UK #MedicalCannabis. For the moment we strongly advise all patients not to engage with the company, at least until such a point such an operation is proven to be operating lawfully - and questions/concerns are properly addressed. Those messaging us have variously described their impressions of the service as: 'a pyramid scheme', 'crypto scam' and 'preying on the naïve'.We will post further information once we've fully investigated the situation for ourselves. For the moment, we strongly advise caution from patients.

We're going to have a discussion next week with Professor Herb/Dr. Green team, though it may take a few days to organise as we wish to invite several well-versed in industry regulations. For the moment, we can say any commission/brokerage fee for unlicensed meds is illegal

'If something looks too good to be true, it's probably too good to be true'

I mean if it turns out to be legit, great, but at this point it really sounds like:

- No actual doctors
- No GDPR
- No regulation
- No legal protection / legitimate status for 'patients'
- No comebacks on anyone involved

And the reviews on their existing hemp / CBD shop are not exactly confidence inspiring

Not managing to do a great job posting parcels to your average Joe customer does not set you up well to deal with patients with disabilities / life-long conditions / etc who require and deserve a higher standard from people managing their medication

I see the patient advocate roles they listed, and just read like a scam to me, but one thing they were very strict on no unspent convictions or drug/sex offences.

Looks like a huge data scrape of the market.
Looked like a pyramid scheme my dad used to go on about in the 90's but I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

It's been one very long week of investigations into all this I will be sending your team an article I have written in regards to this.

Welcome and thanks a lot for your work on this and I do know other members of staff are working on this and I'm sure they will be grateful for your article in the hope of getting to the bottom of this .

Thank you. It literally just started as a gut reaction to one of the posts. Every time I delved In deeper I found more out. Thank you for taking the time to read it

You'd think one day I'd learn curiosity killed the cat but I just can't help myself lol
Yes it's understandable and you wouldn't believe how busy this dude can be with so much going on at once with MedBud but this will be getting the attention it needs I'm certain(y)

Morning and I have literally heard nothing apart from youtubers starting to warn patients on vids about dodgy clinics and if it's not on MedBud.wiki than to be highly sceptical but I'm as intrigued as you especially now it's April and it was meant to launch in South Africa .

Exactly and that MedBud were meant to be having a meeting.
I imagine that will be the Medical Director and as mentioned in the X post it will be about scheduling and gathering the right info/people to look into this but I'm sure as soon as things become clearer we'll know straight away.
