Edibles Rosin (not sure where else to post sorry mods!)

So, not sure if this is even allowed. But as I said in a recent post, I don't know many people etc so... here we go. Sorry if this isn't allowed etc!

Trying that at home rosin making hair straightener thing.

I find i get a bit of residue bit not any proper rosin. Leaves a stain on the baking sheet and that's it. Is temp to high (on and off switch cant monitortemps right? Bud to try?... any tips ?

You need a lot of pressure, my sisters ex can stand on straighteners and get extract, me at half his weight gets dried hot herb. Find a weighty friend or get a rosin press, there are some decent budget ones out there now. Lots of reviews too so you can work out what is best for you

I use this, got it for about £100 less than this though! I think @GrownHealth got same from his local cash converters type place.

Since arriving here myself I've seen the use of presses become more and more common and I'm finding mine a great little addition and maybe going forward the most important piece of kit and am still early days with it so no expert but a few of us here have presses and learn off other members who have used them longer so your in the right place .

Just a note on this @GrownHealth @Muiredach for your consideration. We could do with a dedicated section under Off Topic Discussion that covers all extracts. The poster here did not know if allowed or where to post it. Many of us press and dab, many of us get thca etc. I know you are considering about the thca, but it’s hard not to discuss the latest cannabis scene things and right now extracts are booming. I too feel awkward about posting or where to post about such things after i over did it on the thca recently here.

Not sure just about here but unfortunately many of us don't no where to talk or ask this stuff. It seems there's still.so much stigma regardless of anything cannabis even in the cannabis community... I've jad issues posting about glass and joints in other places because "vapes are oh so super really and legal etc". But.kusy like taking normal pills.. if it's easy with a cup of tea or glass of milk... what's the issue. Using for the same reason s

I smoke joints like I drink tea and I drink tea from morning to night. I told my first doctor and he said he could not give a flying as long as it worked for me. I just try to be more discrete in public now I know I can't get away with the experimental use argument I have a dab rig, a mighty, a vape that I make carts for, I make space cakes for when I am going on days out etc but unlike an egg, you can't beat a joint!

Just thinking where to place it but no problems as pressing medicine isn't illegal is my understanding as you still vaporise it like it says on the tub and maybe it's the clinics that have the problem with this and not the law so really I shouldn't see a problem as is legal Medical Cannabis and it's uses.
Lets see if we can come up with something that covers both going forward but for MC pressing and rosin produced by it there should be no taboo is my instinct .
