It's been on IPS this for a bit now and is one and I'm curious about but just not seen any feedback yet.

orning Chaps, I've had about 4 hours with this flower this morning and I've rounded up my thoughts on it.

Smell:
It’s a weird one, but I genuinely like it. Out the jar, there’s a mix of piss, hay and maybe menthol on the top. Sounds a little out there but there’s also a fizzy sherbet sweetness tucked underneath that balances it out. It’s not loud or punchy, but it’s got character. Once you grind it, the sweetness fades and the hay becomes the main note. Bit of a let down if I’m honest. I was expecting more on that front.

Presentation:
Looks great. Medium-sized buds, nicely frosted, with good colours throughout (purple, deep green, orange hairs). Trim is spot on, no scraggly bits or sugar leaf, and no big stalks either. They are slightly squashed from the mylar bag, but that’s par for the course. Still sticky to the touch, but not wet. It’s maybe a little dry if you’re used to BM, but for medical flower, this is as good as it gets without being overly moist or spongey.

Grinding:
Grinds up beautifully. Fluffy, clean and no resistance. If you like a tidy grind, this one delivers. Shame the smell drops off after breaking it up, but in terms of texture and ease, it’s spot on. I don't know if an enjoyable grind is a thing but its definitely effortless.

Under The Scope:
On the outside of the flower we see the usual headless trichomes and those that are visible are ambler or clear. Inside the plant its a little better with far more headed trichomes as you'd expect (indicating careless packing, possible machine trimmed and/or treatment damage.

Flavour [Vaped and Combusted]:
I used a freshly cleaned Tinymight 2 calibrated to 10, set to 4, and pulled through a clean ISO-washed Globe.

On low heat, the taste is mild. Slightly sweet, vaguely floral, but overall quite faint. Tastes like those paper money sweets we used to get in the 90s, or like water from a bottle that had squash in it before. Not offensive, just... barely there.

On high heat [TM2 set to 8], you get a bit more out of it. Some woodiness, a bit of earthy depth, but it still lacks the fruity kick I’d expect from anything Sherbet-related. Vaping doesn't bring the terpenes to life much.

Here’s the twist. It tastes better combusted. it opens up more. Not loads, but enough to notice. That sweetness comes back a little and it just feels more rounded overall. Not something I say often, but there you go.

Effects:
This is where Blunicorn does its job. It creeps in slowly. Starts with a bit of forehead pressure, then eases into a calm, full-body feel. It’s not a heavy sedative, and it doesn’t glue you to the sofa, but it definitely brings a sense of peace and stillness.

There’s no head-rush or raciness. You’re not wired, you’re just still. It doesn’t lift my mood much, but it does help me feel settled and content. If I wake up too early and need to get back to sleep, this is the kind of thing I’d use. Not because it knocks me out, but because it calms the mind just enough to let you drift naturally.

I wouldn’t use it as a morning driver. I like a bit of mental energy and focus during the day (I usually go for something with terpinolene, Ocimene or Pinene). This doesn’t give me that, but it’s great for low-key afternoons, recovery days or just watching the world go by.

Price and Value:
I think it was around £50 or £59. For that price, I’m not expecting a terp monster. What I do expect is a decent, clean flower that gives consistent effects. Blunicorn absolutely does that.

It reminds me of Upstate MOP. Both are affordable, effective and well-structured. MOP wins when it comes to terpenes, but Blunicorn makes up for it with its calming profile and cleaner look.

Final Verdict:
Blunicorn is not loud, not sharp and not full of flavour. But it’s consistent, peaceful and genuinely useful for chilled sessions or low-stress days. If you want something mellow that won’t make your head race, this could be a solid part of your rotation.

Would I buy it again? Yes.
Would I smoke it every day? No, but I’d keep it around.
Would I recommend it for someone looking for a budget-friendly, non-stimulating Hybrid? 100%. I really think the Grow label is keeping people away here.

Cheers dude for going above and beyond with this review for us and I'm absolutely going to try it now as it seems a very useful strain to have around and sounds like it'd be suited to both of us in our house .
Personally I never think of SafriCanna products as grow and tried all their range last year and found them decent at the price so I'm quite looking forward to giving this one a run out now💚

My pleasure! - I think you'll really enjoy the effects.

I'm hoping a week or two with a glass jar helps it spring back with the aromas and flavours.

You'll have to let us know how you get on with it if you do get some.

Now that is a proper review. Really we should all be making an effort like this on each bud we get, to help one another.
