Love your website, it's helped me to navigate the medical cannabis scene after years of self medicating. I've been with Mamedica for just over a year now and have been pretty impressed from the getgo. Some exciting products, strains and hopefully price decreases it seems are On the horizon

Welcome onboard @Stav 👋 Appreciate the kind words, thank you.

There's a lot of exciting new products in the pipeline for sure, and the range in general is at its largest ever. There's some issues going with new med/batch registrations behind the scenes, so hopefully it doesn't end up affecting patients - because everything is otherwise moving in the right direction.

We're expecting to see pricing continue to decrease 🤞

Cheers, it's just been a bit disheartening waiting all year for green karat meds as it's great quality and they pull a move like they have. The packaging is worse and price gone up because someone thinks they can get more profit. Better news on the 3 different Mac's coming down in price. I'm hoping the next couple of months sees a lot of products saturate the market then a bit of a price war.

This was actually down to a third-party packager having to be used. Previously Green Karat meds were packed by Cantourage themselves in Germany, which they then distributed via Cantourage UK. Now all GK meds go to PortoCanna for packaging in Portugal first. There's a limit to how much I can say publicly here, but it was a necessary move.

Involving that third-party packager to continue availability added a lot of extra costs to the supply chain.

You and me both, there's over 95 flower medications available right now - which is by far the greatest ever. We often quip every month more and more producers are forced to share a smaller chunk of the pie - competition will be good for pricing in the long run (y)

I suppose that's kinda reassuring as I had Green Karat down as good guys having watched a YouTube documentary on them, I was well impressed by them , then when the pave s1 dropped to £8.5/g I give it a go and boom , now it seems the only hope is that the sheer volume of pave expected when it returns to stock keeps the price down. Wasn't as keen on the modified gas but those new strains look pukka.

I really wish people would understand that higher prices don’t always mean profit especially in the current economic conditions worldwide.

I’d rather people were being paid a fair living wage if they’re working in cannabis, no matter what role, and squeezing profits never affects the shareholders, it’s always costs cut first.

Still got to question rises though. An when there is a reasonable reason as it seems in this case , you are left with the choice to buy or not.
As for current economic conditions worldwide that could be used an excuse for anything.

We haven't had it confirmed yet but I strongly suspect that Pave S1 will come back at £10/g too because it will also be using the new third-party packager. Agree with your comments completely, it's been the single most effective medication I've found yet. I managed to repeat it for 6 months straight, infact only product I've repeated aside from Supreme Diesel in the past year.

Indeed, patients have continually been told since the beginning that costs will decrease over time and it's a fair expectation as the market grows.
